The stay was alright

The property was in an ideal location, close to town centre.

The room wasn’t very clean, with dust on the lamp next to the bed. You could hear every noise from the other guests, due to the design of the property.

Appalling treatment. I had stayed at multiple Roomsbooked hotels for over a month. On my recent trip I was accused of damaging a TV. I noticed the aerial was not plugged in so used the smart feature. I neglected to say this on checkout as it slipped my mind and was left with an email asking for £400 for a replacement TV. Disgusting treatment given I’d spent thousands in stays due to work.

There was nothing I liked about the property

When I arrived in my room I found bugs in the bed. I took pictures of the insect and did a reserve image search to discover it was indeed a bed bug. I collected my belongings and returned to the reception to inform the staff of the situation. The staff member at the time was very unhelpful and honestly didn’t seem to care at all, I was told I have two options either stay in the room or check out now (this was at 10pm). I asked if they would not offer me another room, or a refund given the circumstances and was told they were fully booked and that “she was just a receptionist and to contact customer services”. She also stated that their in house specialty cleaning service would check the room over in the morning for signs of any bugs, but that begs the question how many times has this happened previously and how unbiased would that cleaning service be. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about staying here, stay well clear and find somewhere clean and reputable.

Awful and disrespectful staff in the office.

Oh boy! to start no email after my booking. Went on site and a client coming out told me to go to their office to have the keys, little further 5 mn with my suitcase. Then the girls sitting near the window not answering to my greetings barely looking at me and too busy talking about how she was getting ready for her boyfriend ( shaving and all stuff). The African girl helped me with a beautiful smile she did her best. making things easier. Then the room , broken shared bathroom. Awful.

Very dirty -Filty bathroom and flooring was flooded.

The location is very convient .

The bathroom is very dirty and they only have a cleaner in 1 hour in the morning.The bathroom floor was flooded due to the people showering and the toilet was disgusting. It's very noisy and there are no soundproof. I don't stay there again.

Generally ok, got what I paid for I guess.

Location was alright, for a room it had what I needed, bed was comfy enough.

Better information was needed on where to check as it was not at the location I was staying at. There was also 2 venues in cheltenham. The room was hot with no air conditioning, window did open very wide for safety reasons. A fan would have been helpful.

Central location

Horrible smell. Dirty. Broken shower doors and toilet seats. Paper thin walls. Kept awake by couple screaming next door. At check in they wanted to take copies of my ID but who knows why. All seemed very dodgy. Felt like a brothel.

There is a smell coming from the old carpets and one of the toilets also has smell coming from the old fittings. Unfortunately a fire alarm triggered, it was a false alarm. I was not happy how the management dealt with the issue, I’m still waiting for their response

It is close to the centre and right in amongst everything

Ants.. on the window, the door, the bed. Everywhere. You have to keep the window in the latch and there's no form of cooling. The room must get up to 35° and there is no escape from the heat. The shower door was hanging on by one wheel so showering with the door open or risk impalement are your only two options Toilet seat also hanging on by one single washer, like trying to squat over and ice rink with risk of sliding off into next door or back into the hanging by a thread shower door. Oh and all this is shared..... Would rather commit a petty crime and spend a night in the cells than come back here

Good position in town.

The Hotel was 2 blocks from the apartments. I had a very heavy suitcase. The shower door was off the rails and the paint on the bathroom door was cracked and peeled

The property is definitely a VERY budget accommodation. It’s incredibly run down and poorly kept. I have stayed in cheap accommodation before but university halls would be cleaner and better kept, for sure

DO NOT STAY HERE. BEDBUGS, HAIR ON BED AND RUDE STAFF.

Had the worst stay of my life here. BEDBUG found in the bed. Immediately took a picture and disposed of the bedbug, walked all the way back to the reception (you have to walk to a different building for reception and checkin). I asked them to change the room for me which they did thankfully, and was told to email the manager. Went into the new room, found a large distasteful clump of hair just sitting on the bed right by the pillow. Emailed the manager about the bedbug and hair found, received a horrible response, basically telling me there was no presence of bedbugs, even when I just caught the bedbug in the bed and even sent them photographic proof!!! And they told me they believe that their housekeeping staff would not have missed the hair on the bed. (But it evidently was, I sent a picture to them too). Took a long time to reply my emails, absolutely no apology from the email about the unhygienic hair or the bedbug. The toilet door was also faulty. Absolutely DO NOT recommend to stay. Staff that checked us in was not friendly either. Cannot think of any good things to say about this place.

Ease of access to a central location.

The room provided was at a building within walking distance of the reception which was unexpected. The room was dilapidated and so made it hard to tell if poor carpet quality or just not properly vacuumed.
