The general vibe, friendliness, views, facilities, and location were all incredible - I’ve never felt such a welcoming dynamic from both the staff and the people staying. Thank you so much.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms/showers/the curtain in my bed didn’t work but the common spaces make up for this.

Good Price, awesome view from the terrace, nice people!
It’s kind of basic, some things didn’t work and the kitchen is very small. And you have to be aware that it’s a youth hostel aswell so there might be school classes staying there.

The hostel has a lot of things going for it. The location is fabulous on the top of an amazing hill that overlooks Leon. It has a spectacular view and is really worth going there. The accommodation in the dormitories was satisfactory in every way. Lovely mattress & bed linen. I had the top bunk and there was a little curtain to keep me closed in as well as a piece of timber covering the other side. One of the toilets had a toilet seat that came off completely, however the other one was clean and the showering area I just kind of skipped because that was unclean. The staff were brilliant when I arrived after midnight and I was welcomed and shown to my room and in fact shown my bed because everything was pitch black at that time. The guy serving the breakfast in the morning was very friendly and accommodating to my very poor French.
Upgrade bathroom facilities.
