Lovely, very cute & great breakfast with cute decor. Charming building & restaurant on site. Very tasty meals.

No cooling in the rooms. No A/C or fan so was hot at night. No laundry facilities & nothing open in town on a weekend. Everything also opens late so no chance of a laundry mat being available early on a weekend day. We stayed 3days at this property after already travelling 2weeks & needed to do washing so ended up needing to hand wash some clothes in our bathroom basin.

Exceptional

The location and view to the mountains was great! The couple owning the apartments was very friendly and welcomed us warmly, even gave us advice on which road to take for our road trips. The room was spacious, super clean well equipped and with a big balcony. We would like a small fridge, but apart from that, we had everything we needed. The breakfast itself and atmosphere at the breakfast table gave us the feeling of being at home! Strongly recommend :)

It’s the cutest little guesthouse that feels homely and welcoming. Host Susanne was amazing, made us felt comfortable and helped with Covid-test related matters which was much appreciated! Mountain View from the room is breathtaking, breakfast was great. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in the area.

Perfect place to wind down.

Perfect locations. Decent and resonably priced food. Lots of activities can be done, depends on the weather.. Quiet place.Great Hospitality. Very nice view and near to Zugspitze. Will come back again for some trekking and Zugspitze.

Week-end in the mountains.

The hosts are extremely welcoming. It is a family owned guest house in the small town of Grainau. Our room had a very large balcony with a direct view on the mountains and the Zugspitze. The breakfast was delicious and served with care.

Everything is Perfect, The owners are so helpful, nothing is to much trouble. Room are large and spacious and have balconies.. The food is amazing 11 out of 10. And not over priced for the quality. I have been there twice now, as a solo traveller and with friends. and each time it have been fantastic. And will be returning again very soon.

Cosy small hotel in a calm location

Everything was according to the description on booking, therefore it matched our expectations. But nothing more than that. I would add that the male host was polite and talkative, always smiling and with something nice to say: we perceived him as the "ideal" nice grandfather.

We were told the kitchen is closed for dinner when we went down to the restaurant at around 8PM on a Friday evening. There were other guests already eating delicious food, so we had to watch them while enjoying a beer and some apple pie. In the end - it's fine - but it would be nice to specify somewhere not just that dinner starts at 6PM but also when it ends. So that guests can plan their arrival.

Perfekt Vielen Danke

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison d’hôte : la maison est super agréable et bien décorée, la salle du petit déjeuner dispose d’une vue magnifique sur le Zugspitze et les gérants sont à la fois discrets et super disponibles. Notre chambre (sur le côté) avait une balcon avec une belle vue sur la montagne, on entendait les oiseaux (ou les écureuils avec un peu de chance) et le petit cours d’eau. Le ménage est vraiment impeccable. La décoration est mignonne, le lit super confortable et surtout il y a des volets pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir 🙏🏻 Je suis bien contente d’avoir pris un logement dans ce village plutôt qu’à Garmisch même, tout est mieux à Grainau.

Ontbijt was compleet, maar was pas vanaf 8:00 beschilbaar. Niet ideaal voor de vroege vogels.

Wir kommen wieder

Alles...die freundliche Gastwirte....die Umgebung... Zugspitze vor der Haustür unserer Pension... Eibsee ca. 8 Minuten mit dem Auto... Garmisch Partenkirchen und diverse Ausflugsziele sind nicht weit entfernt. Werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen

Außerordentlich schön und herzlich!

Ich habe meine absolute Lieblingsunterkunft in Grainau gefunden! Und ich werde hier jetzt auch nicht zu viel Werbung für das Gasthaus machen, um zu vermeiden, dass ich dort demnächst vielleicht kein Zimmer mehr bekomme, da ständig ausgebucht! 😉 Nur so viel: das Restaurant und die Speisen sind auf einem Level, das man durchaus als mindestens "gehoben" bezeichnen darf. Ebenso außerordentlich ist der Wohlfühlcharakter durch die offene und ehrliche Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber. Die Einrichtung des Gasthaus mit den vielen kleinen Details, aber auch die meines Zimmers, wirkten absolut authentisch - wobei das Zimmer sicherlich hätte noch komfortabler sein können, aber für mich absolut ausgereicht hat, da ich ja kein Wellness Hotel buchen wollte, sondern in einem bequemen Bett schlafen, nachdem ich den Tag in der schönen Natur rund um das Zugspitzmassiv verbracht habe. Auf genau dieses kann man durch die Lage des Gasthauses beim Frühstück und Abendessen übrigens sehr gut gucken! 🙂

Schöner Urlaub in sehr schöner Lage

Uns hat fast alles gefallen, Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit, Sehr gutes Frühstück, und natürlich die Lage.

Zimmer Nr. 3 der Balkon, keinen Bergblick, sehr schmutzig, überall Spinnweben der Balkon is komplett Lieblos ausgestattet. Mit nur einem Liegestuhl für 2 Leute.

Las instalaciones son increíbles y todo esta muy cuidado y limpio. El desayuno tiene todo lo necesario y el personal es muy amable, incluso nos dejaron unas tarjetas para poder acceder al transporte público de manera gratuita. Por otra parte la ubicación es inmejorable, es una zona muy tranquila que a su vez esta cerca de varios sitios populares por la zona. Destacar también que cuenta con parking gratis.

Sehr schönes uriges und familiäres Haus, die Zimmer haben sehr viel Platz und waren sehr sauber, alle unsere Zimmer hatten einen Balkon mit Zugspitzblick. Im Restaurant und Frühstücksraum hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Zugspitze, es gibt eine kleine Karte mit köstlichen Gerichten, hier kocht ein Koch mit Leidenschaft was man am Essen schmeckt. Das Frühstück war reichlich und sehr gut !

Es gab hier nichts zu kritisieren, was wir uns gewünscht hätten wäre im Restaurant 1-2 Gericht für Kinder.

Es war toll

Es war ein ganz schöner Urlaub, die Gastgeber sind ganz herzlich, wirklich wunderbare Menschen. Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage, zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum von Grainau. Ein paar Meter neben dem Haus ist eine Bushaltestelle, von dort aus kann man mit der Grainau Card (die man beim Einchecken bekommt) umsonst fahren, vom Eibsee bis Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Das Frühstück wird mit viel Liebe serviert, alles ganz toll.

Das Wetter war nicht das beste, aber es hat trotzdem sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
