Excellent hotel for an overnight stay or longer

Whole hotel including bedrooms very well maintained. Comfortable bedroom which was very quiet at night. Good restaurant serving traditional German food and excellent breakfast in the morning.

Missed tea and coffee making facility in room. Most hotels make this available

A Gem, to Revisit

Quite a find, just a few moments off the main motorway south to Basle, traditional guest house with excellent restaurant, and full breakfast. Judging by the range of wine bottle sizes in the breakfast room there have been some parties in there. One to visit again.

Nice hotel in a small and calm town off the highway with indoor swimming pool managed by kind people

I enjoyed the swimming pool very much, even though I did not have much time.

It was well indicated but I had to be very careful when taking the stairs to my room on the first floor, because of a part that is rather low. It's because I'm quite tall.

Clean, quaint, onsite parking, and they made me breakfast to-go since it was included in the price but I was leaving super early for the airport.

I felt at home.

The hospitality of the staff. Happy and smiling and greet you with open arms. Breakfast was included and waiting for me at my table. Freshly cooked with homemade strawberry jam, perfect omelet. Clean and a typical Gästhof decor.

The shower head leaked real bad.

Everything was perfect from room to breakfast. They let me check in at 10 am which was very helpful. It’s very rare that someone let you check in that early. Breakfast was really good and distance from airport was also very minimal.

The BEST Experience in my Life!

Everything was awesome! Especially, their hospitality is equivalent to a five-star hotel. I misunderstood the breakfast time and came at the ending time, but the staff (maybe Frau Hirsch?) welcomed me and said to me 'langsame, bitte' (You can take your time, please.) Of course, the food they serve was so delicious and a lot of varieties! (buffet style) Four kinds of bottled jam are a must!! Unfortunately, on the day I visited, they had a mega transportation strike across Germany. I talked to another staff (Herr Hirsch?) about what I should do during the stay. And he kindly made recommendations and he was so gentle and generous and flexible. I will definitely come back if I could go to Germany again in the future. Another staff (maybe Tochter/daughter) was so cute and kind, too!

I have nothing to complain about. It is located in a countryside, but adjacent to Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport. You might walk there if you don't mind.

A nice place with terrible cleaners.

The rooms seem to have a balcony which is a nice bonus, even if you don't plan on using it.

The cleaning staff doesn't know what rooms are occupied for a one night stay only and break into your room several times per morning even if your room is locked.

A comfortable hotel with character.

The hotel is full of character and tastefully decorated. We were made to feel very welcome by the helpful staff. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and tea/coffee making facilities are available on the ground floor. There is a nice indoor swimming pool & sauna which was perfect at the end of a long day of driving. The hotel is well placed - near the border, for those travelling between France & Germany. We have stayed several times and look forward to our next visit.

Stayed the Night for Early morning Flight

Beautiful on the outdoors with very nice seating areas, very nice restaurant, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything seems to be working as it should. Exactly 3 Kms from Baden AirPark (if you have no luggage the walk is beautiful). The village is beautiful as well.

Certain things are quite old , so might take time to adjust. Early morning checkout the way to reception was locked so had no idea where to drop the keys.

Exceptional

Perfect location if you are travelling out of Karlsruhe Baden Baden Airport) The public bus stop is 20 meters away with direct route to the airport route, stops right in departures. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant is fantastic. We had dinner and the german food selection was phenomenal. Not only will I come back because of the hotel, but would love to enjoy another dinner like the one we had. Perfect.

The bathtub is very high. I was travelling with my older mother and was scare she could hurt herself trying to climb out of it. Even for me was a challange to come out. Would suggest you look into modernizing/renovating that aspect.

Short but pleasant stay

I liked the Location, it's easy to get to from the train station. It is a quiet location and the surrounding area is lovely. Very easy to get to the airport. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had to checkout extremely early the next morning so we took care of everything the day of.

double bed made up of two singles which separated during the night, very uncomfortable there was also a problem to get a spare key to access the room. person at reception initially refused to give me a key to access the room.

Location is good, 40 mins by foot to the airport. Thanks for a packed breakfast. When a man came to the reception it all was done nice & quickly, but I had to wait long for that to happen.

I had to wait for too long as the receptionist was at the same time the waitress, so she was busy serving the restaurant guests. The toilet & shower were right in the room. Not fresh smell in the room & noise from the street.

Hotel and room was excellent. Very clean and the breakfast was outstanding.

We booked the hotel as after a long journey we anted to have parking available (so no stress) and then the option of a Sauna. Unfortunatley the Sauna didn't work.

Balcony was a nice edition, room was spacious and a pleasant bathroom minus the very very low located toilet. Complimentary water

Rooms are somewhat on the hot side, wifi was pretty slow and did not work until late in the evening and limited amenities. Bed wasn't as comfy either.
