Cosy hotel in nice quiet little town

Friendly staff. Very nice restaurant with tasty food and good breakfast. I stayed only for one night on my way through but it´s definitely worth while to return and spend more time in the neighbourhood.

Accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely outside beer garden with good traditional food and very dog friendly. Lovely walks around the surrounding vineyards.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in a beautiful neighborhood.

Everything in the apartment was perfect - very clean and comfortable. We also had everything we needed to make a small meal in the kitchen and a wonderful view from our balcony! We were greeted warmly and the owner made sure that we were all set. She even moved her car so that we could have an open parking space for unpacking, etc. in the small parking lot between the restaurant and the apartment. I'm just sorry that we didn't have time to have dinner at the restaurant! The food must be very good because the place was very busy both nights.

Nothing that the owner could change! The apartment is right next to the restaurant, so early morning deliveries and trash removal was loud, as are the church bells, but these are not things the owner can change, so this isn't a complaint but just a heads-up for future renters! If you're a very early riser, you won't even notice.

Lovely gasthof but poor wifi and some noise

Lovely gasthof in a lovely village at the edge of the black forest and next to Buhl and close to Baden-Baden. The apartment was great and comfy. Furniture is almost new. Reasonably well equipped apartment. Check-in and checkout very straightforward

Wifi very poor. Almost no WiFi signal in the apartment we had and WiFi not secure. Noise was a minor issue in the evening but quiet overnight until 6am when there was some street noise. Towels not very large but otherwise apartment is well equipped and good customer service.

It is located in a small village so you do need to eat there but the food is wonderful. The staff are accommodating and friendly

Good Value-for-Money in a quiet area

Good heating and insulation, and generally had all the facilities we needed for our trip. It looks like it was renovated reasonable recently, and was kept nice and clean. The restaurant was really lovely, and check-in/out was straightforward.

The kitchen was a bit understocked (particularly missing knives), and the position of the lights made it a bit difficult to see while cooking. While the bed was really comfortable, the other seating areas were not super comfortable.

Very friendly service, excellent terrace with great traditional food and drinks. Room had a good size, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh breakfast. Very good value for money.

The restaurant was amazing, everything we ate was delicious, the lady served us was super helpful. Rooms are clean and large.

The room was big and comfortable. There was a small welcome sweet Haribo :) Everything was very clean. We had a dinner there and the waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Also the food was very tasty. For the breakfast, they freshly prepared the eggs and coffee. (decaf was available).

Black Forest trip

we were visiting and discovering the black forest and it was a perfect location to stop and enjoy with the family. Big bedrooms , clean and also there is a restaurant with a good offer. 😀

We used this hotel as an over night passing through but would come back any time

The staff were so kind and spent special time with us explaining meals and local food and wines. Breakfast was quiet and adequate and there was no messing about when it came to check out quick and easy

Great time and wonderful memories for the kids.

The breakfast was great and the host went out of her way to make my daughters eggs and bacon. The staff was wonderful and helped us understand German customs and went over the menu. The food was amazing and the location was perfect for our stay and room

While I have grown accustom to the sounds in and around the towns, the morning bells from the church woke up my wife and kids. But this did not take away from our stay and I would do it again.

Le petit déjeuner est moins qualitatif qu'au kloster Maria Hilf, mais question confort c'est autrement mieux. En plus le personnel a de l'humour ce qui est très agréable quand on a fait de la route.

L'insonorisation n'est pas au top, mais les clients ont respecté l'extinction des feux.

Wij waren hier voor de 2e keer. Handige lokatie op weg naar Frankrijk. Goed bereikbaar op een paar km van de snelweg. Voor 3 personen lekker ruim met keukentje behalve de 1p slk maar voor 1 nacht prima. Goede douche. Je kunt in het restaurant heerlijk eten. Wel even reserveren als je op zaterdag komt. Parkeren op straat.

De bedden zijn wat kort. Het ontbijt is redelijk. Verse broodjes, vers roerei, maar wat slappe koffie en waterige jusdorange.

Genau richtig für 2-3 Tage einfach mal raus aus dem Altag

Für 2–3 Tage ist es perfekt, und die Nähe zum Seibelseckle und zum Murmelsee macht es sehr attraktiv.

Es fehlen Kleinigkeiten. Wir hätten uns noch kleine Haken an der Wand irgendwo gewünscht, ebenso einen runden Tisch, an dem man gut essen kann. Außerdem muss man sich bewusst sein, dass die Kochecke wirklich nur eine Kochecke ist und das gleichzeitige Kochen mit zwei Töpfen etwas Übung erfordert.
