Good option for familes with a car on the edge of Derry.

Friendly staff, a large family room and a filling breakfast. There was also good parking.

We stayed over a wet and dark evening so did not get to experience the property and area in the way we would have liked to.

Enjoyable stay in a lovely guesthouse in a quiet location

Excellent location - close to my work location for the next morning! The premises were lovely, clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and the breakfast had a great choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, and a cooked breakfast. My room was 'hotel quality' complete with wall-mounted television, tea/coffee, and a safe. The bed was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend this guesthouse.

The chair in the Beech room had wobbly legs - just needs someone to tighten up the nuts! Apart from that, all good!

It was very tidy and comfortable. Margaret the host was very accommodating and helped during our stay. The breakfast provided was great - loved it. It’s a little out town but we had a vehicle which meant it wasn’t an issue for us.

Relaxing refreshing in a very convenient location just outside Derry and close proximity to donegal

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, especially for breakfast. We were traveling with a mix of vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores and they were able to easily accommodate all of us. The rooms were very comfortable and well sound-insulated. We also appreciated the regular replenishing of tea supplies in the rooms!

The bathroom fan didn't seem to do much to help air out the bathroom and we found that keeping the windows open at all times was the only way to maintain a comfortable temperature in the rooms (visited in late August). The location is great if you have a car or are willing to walk ~1hr into town. Fortunately the cabs in Derry are very cheap.

Beautiful B&B with lovely accommodating hosts in the countryside

Beautiful manor house, the bed was really comfortable and the shower was great and had enough pressure to wash my hair properly! Breakfast had lots of options, even gluten free ones for me! The owner gave us a ride into town instead of us taking a taxi which was greatly appreciated! Staff were nice and friendly.

Traditional B&B with truly lovely hosts! The location is perfect, both for travelling on and for getting to the city centre. The manor is set in its own grounds, with lovely views all around. Peaceful and quiet. Spacious room with a superking bed. Great and generous breakfast cooked to order.

The bathroom could do with an upgrade, but there was nothing wrong with it.

Perfect for the night just outside Derry.

We were warmly greeted during check in and shown to our room which we found very comfortable for the night. The breakfast in the morning was ready when requested and delicious. The definition of a great bed and breakfast.

It was very quiet.

The property was a considerable distance from the city and the B&B was dirty and run down and dated. The breakfast was not good and the bowl of fruit offered were not fresh. The bananas were over-ripe and bruised. The apples were small and unappealing.

Very comfortable stay and great hosts Margaret and John

We arrived late afternoon and warmly welcomed by Margaret and John, room was very spacious with a large bathroom, heating in both the Bedroom and bathroom, Margaret cooked up beautiful breakfast for us each morning included in the price. Unfortunately 2nd night we lost power for about 4 hours, just meant we had a longer sleep in, John did lend us a torch to plan our following day. Very peaceful and not too far out of bustling Derry

We loved our stay at groarty house. We had a lovely welcome from Stuart who also gave us great advice about the £6 walking tour around Derry city and also about best location for parking in Derry town (William st). The location of the property is fantastic, approx 5mins drive from Derry. The house is lovely and warm all the time and spotlessly clean. We loved staying here. The full Irish breakfast each morning was a lovely addition to our stay!
