Mostly clean, very well equipped, easy 15 min walk to tube, friendly welcome, easy check in/ out.
The walls are drawn on/ messy and it's got an odd feel to it. Construction going on right outside the window, and the train goes by every 1 min (not exaggerating) all day and night except for a few of hours between midnight and dawn.

Solomon and Betty were so very helpful and kind to allow a really early check-in and meet me at their place.
The home itself so secure and comfortable and in such an anazing location.

Wir, Vater und Tochter, haben eine wunderbare Woche in der wirklich geräumigen Wohnung verbracht. Mit einem eigenen Schlafzimmer mit ca. 1.4 m breitem Doppelbett, einem Wohnzimmer mit Sofa und Fernseher, einem großen Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen und einer ziemlich vollständig eingerichteten Küche mit Mikrowelle, Gas-Herd und sogar Waschmaschine (von uns nicht benutzt) kann man auch gemütliche Abende zu Hause verbringen. Es ist nicht mehr alles neuwertig, manches klappert ein wenig, die Wasserhähne sind verkalkt und die Küchenmesser müssten mal dringend geschliffen werden. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten.
Die Verkehrsanbindung ist gut: Vor dem Haus halten Busse (die Linie 52, war unser Liebling) und zur U-Bahn Ladbroke Grove kann man zu Fuß gehen. Zum Supermarkt Sainsbury’s ist es nicht weit und das Indische Lokal „Palki“ gleich um die Ecke kann man nur wärmstens empfehlen.
Die Wohnung ist nicht zu vergleichen mit einem 8-10 qm Hotelzimmer in der Innenstadt.
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es relativ laut ist in der Wohnung (deshalb nur 8 von 10 Punkten). Eine verkehrsreiche Straße vor dem Haus und vor allem die große Bahnlinie hinter dem Haus sind bis in die Nacht hinein und dann wieder ab 4 Uhr früh schon deutlich zu hören. Also eher nichts für extrem lärmempfindliche Menschen.

Close to transport. Spacious living area..cooking & washing machine.
Noisy area with road traffic & trains day & night. No block-out curtains in lounge area .for sofa bed.. no frying pan in kitchen, or vegetable peeler. Only 1 small tea towel , small amt. of dish washing detergent for 8 night stay. Memory foam mattress on double bed.
