The cottage was so lovely and cosy but with plenty of room. It had the most beautiful scenery and there were heaps of fantails flying around. They even provided duck food so the kids could feed the ducks. We had a very enjoyable few days
Nothing except the spreads for the breakfast were not the best and the only spread that I child would want was honey and it was unusable It would be best to have just commonly used spreads. Just my point of view not a criticism

Secluded, private, gorgeous bush setting with balcony overlooking a flowing pond. At night with windows open you could hear tinkling of running water. Very nice and clean and relaxing atmosphere inside. Had everything we needed plus more. Lots of little extra touches like some home made jams, a fresh loaf of very yummy bread, and a good selection of condiments, cereal and more.
Honestly, there was nothing to dislike.

I have stayed at this property many times.It is my preferred place to stay when in the Waikato.It is convenient to the motorway, is very quiet,good takeaways at Matangi,well priced with all the needs for a travelling couple.
