The whole family agreed our stay was great. Perfect size, location and price, home away from home.

Not a big deal, but a TV in the lounge. Also, when staying 2 nights, enough towels, even tho they were a phone call away, felt like a nuisance when annoying owner for them, better if they there already.

Good to Very Good - another 10% improvement to the facilities would make it excellent

Large Room, clean. Towels, Bed & linen were good, plus Tv in room, Heater & Cooling Fan. Gas stove in the kitchen, reasonably well equipped kitchen, just look in the drawer labeled tea cups for the cooking utensils. Good location, Good atmosphere, Fellow guests were tidy, friendly & quiet at night. Overall it was a great deal & experience staying at J & L boarding holiday house, would gladly stay again

No hand towel to dry hands in the toilet by the front door. No instructions to operate the TV to watch local channels for the news etc or to browse the internet for online live TV options, could only get Netflix which was great for movies which we enjoyed . Poor water pressure in the kitchen, The Kitchen had no measuring spoons or measuring jug or rubber scraper - (Kmart has a full range of $2 kitchen items). The Kitchen lacked a Dish Cloth & Spray n wipe to clean up after use. The Saucepan we needed was missing matching lid, the oven appeared to be missing the cooking racks , Stove & Oven could use a deep clean. Both Showers need a deep clean, The Large Shower Head in the bath tub shower room is loose on the wall, it is almost ready to fall off, the lower joint connection leaked potentially losing pressure

When I booked the room it said it has private washroom, when we reached we find out it's a common one , though it's a bit neat they misleaded in the advertisement.

The blackout curtains in the room give off a strange smell after being exposed to the sun. The accommodation is located at the intersection of two streets, and there is significant traffic noise at night.

Absolutely coming here again!

The property was in the middle of every place we wanted to go (5 mins either way) and it was clean, quiet and an absolutely beautiful place to stay. James is a super communicative host and his niece is so onto everything that it makes the stay comfortable and they have everything you need to make it worth it!

The rooms can get pretty hot but leaving the window open and the fan on helped!

Place looked very clean, calm and pretty. I liked the privacy and independence of the set-up. Value for money. Thanks for the sachet of coffee with milk in it. Didn't have to buy a bottle of milk just for my morning coffee.

I wasn't expecting so much traffic noise right outside my window. Still got to sleep fine though. Wasn't sure how to let them know I had arrived. My first email didn't get through. I didn't realize I did not have control of the heater. They must have granted control after they knew I had arrived.

Full of amenities, it has literally everything in the house. There are two shower rooms so there is no wait needed. Spacious living room and kitchen in the house.

It is just beside the main road and it is still busy at night so the noise can be heard. It would be good if ear plugs are provided to help with reducing the noise during bedtime.

It was freezing cold. It didn't have any heater or heat pump. The property fails the healthy home standards set by the government as it needs to be above 18, degrees in temperature. Yesterday it was not even 5 degrees Celsius.

Accessible and clean

Location wise very accessible, overall clean, just a bit noisy due to cars passing and doing some acceleration sound. Even they forgot the beddings for the sofa bed, she was able to give it later on before we went to sleep.

A pleasant and very clean place to stay. Would definitely stay again .

Location was very central to city so was ideal. Traffic noise was apparant late into evening and early morning in room i was staying in, but that was ok.

The shower i used worked well , but the door seal needs attention because water leaks onto the floor during showering .
