Staff friendly for our book in.

Wifi patchy/general speed. Getting a bit dated but still decent. Parking is tight, and need to reverse out of the place (no turn around bay when getting busier). Entrance guttering off main road is fairly steep and an issue for lower profile cars scrapping front etc.

Clean and tidy with good features.

The staff member was very pleasent and sorted and issue we had and followed up to check it was resolved. The spa bath was good and the aircontitioning unit was great, based on the hot weather during our stay. The place was clean and tidy and well stocked with the essentials. Noise management of other guests was managed well as noise stopped at the cutoff time of 10pm.

TV was hard to work and slow connecting , so could not watch anything the first night. It was a complicated setup and not easy to navigate despite being tech savvy myself. Lots of road noise for front unit.

Didn’t like that they made me pay $100 bond on check in even though I had paid in advance they refunded on Monday (we stayed Saturday night) just stayed directly across the road on Wednesday night no bond! Couldn’t sleep on bed it was too hard so I slept on single bed my child was on queen bed with hubby.

I like the location of the motel, very clean, very comfortable, friendly staff a, good parking and everything was perfect. overall i recommend all the guest if you visiting Hamilton do book HYGATE Motel for your stay .

As we were in the side-by-side room we requested to open the connecting door as we were all families, but the staff said it cannot be done, we request if the management can sit on a meeting and discuss on this and allow that if both rooms are purchased by the same guest.

The room was tidy, spacious and good value for money.

It is somewhat dated and needs a refresh. But then again it was a reasonably priced to reflect the dated nature of it. One of the toilets ran out of toilet paper and was not replaced despite us requesting it. We couldn't change the toilet roll because it was a commercial toilet paper dispenser and was locked. So we couldn't use that toilet which was disappointing. Other than that it was OK.

Spacious rooms with sufficient space and furniture for our stay. Spacious Bathrooms. Some areas (cabinets) need updating Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles (Utes). Beds were a little too soft for my preference.

Colleague arrived earlier than me and wasn't able to access the room until the bond was paid. I contacted them while travelling and asked if she could access the room and when I arrived, I will provide card details. Adamant they needed bond first, so she had to wait, or I provide card details over the phone. Not impressed with this process. I accepted the 'bond' required but no flexibility to wait for me to arrive, quite insistent which wasn't helpful. Be good for reception/enquiries person was able to explain better, was difficult at times over the phone

Went to check in 1 hour before time they said room was available but at an extra charge never been asked for extra charges ever. The the signs in the room saying the free coffee bags are supplied once if you need extra there will be a charge also the staff at the front counter wrote down credit card details and the pin that I'm not happy about.

Good value for money, have stayed before and will stay again

Beds were comfortable and warm, the place was clean, you got given milk, there was a stove so you could cook meals, the shower was lovely, the water was nice and strong, a tv, air con, elec blanket, it had all the basics, staff were friendly and helpful, check in and out was easy, it was nice and quiet, lots of parking

The glasses were small but that was the only thing. Not a major issue.

Lovely comfy bed, and a great shower

There was a cockroache in a glass I left out on the bench, and the toilet played up a little in the morning and wouldn't flush. Water was trickling into the toilet bowl, and I had to push the flush button together a few times to get it to stop - then it started flushing again. Microwave was very slow to heat a cold meal (not frozen) - took about 6 minutes

I used the booking.com messenger to ask the same question, and still no response Lack of hooks in the bathroom No "No service" tag for the door - even if you don't need anything, your room will still be visited Fridge hardly worked - the food in the fridge remained just slightly cool, not cold Old, tired curtains in the bedroom Dirty, old sponge for dishwashing - couldn't even make myself touch it, went to buy a new one
