Lochgoilhead is in a fairly remote section of the western Highlands at the head of Loch Goil, surrounded by mountains and beautiful countryside, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. We enjoyed our stay despite some rather wet weather. Ridgeview Villa is a spacious, modern property, comfortably furnished with two sitting rooms and lots of TVs. The kitchen is well equipped with just about all the utensils needed for cooking and meal preparation. The only thing lacking is an enclosed green space for sitting out if the weather is fine, though it's possible to sit at the front of the property in an open, hard landscaped space.
The lack of a green enclosed seated area is about the only downside. The village itself has a small shop to cover the basics, and there's another shop at the Drimsynie holiday park nearby, but for someone like me with a gluten allergy, there are limited food options. Fortunately we came prepared for that.

Nice property with plenty of room for 6 guests and had everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable break. About 50 yards from the Goil Inn which has good food, drink and excellent staff.
Nothing to dislike.
