The outside is fabulous: two tables for the apero with a lot of flowers and bushes.Inside, there are many tools for cooking (pleasant for french people). A good value for moneyYves Christine Dédé Syviane Odile Michel Rémi

Plenty room for all family & grandkids. All you need for a quite break, everything on hand for in house cooking. We took plenty of games with us. Did not need to as there was a large selection in the house. Thank you

Arrived at property and lovely location. Had spoken to housekeeper before arrival and she was lovely and gave me all the information I had asked for. Had myself daughter ,2 elderly relatives and 2 small dogs with us. Had a lovely stay unfortunately weather wasn't great as garden was beautiful and would have been amazing on a dry day. Only issues I had were no non slip mat for walk in shower so was difficult for our oldies to use and house did smell a bit musty..apart from that had a fabulous stay

The location was just right for what we wanted to do ( We've been coming to Dunoon for nearly 20 years) What sold Brookfield to us from the photos of the garden and the large kitchen / diner. Unfortunately they were a little disappointing when we arrived. The garden was very overgrown and although the lawn had been mown access via the paths was very difficult. You could not drive down the driveway, as the trees on one side, and the bushes on the other had not been trimmed back far enough which meant a difficult walk for my 92 year old Mother, from the car. The kitchen, which had everything we needed, is showing it's age and needs attention. Firstly the flu for the cooker hood is covered in grease. The kitchen table is worn and sticky. A panel at the side of the Oven cabinet has fallen down and the walls could do with a 'Lick' of paint. The weeds outside on the gravel areas are plenty and the bushes / plants are over growing onto the paths. On the plus side the beds / bedding were fantastic and we all had brilliant nights sleeps while we were here. The little bit of house keeping that's required is not going to put us off coming back next year.
