An excellent weekend

Self catering But we ate out Breakfast lunch and Dinner in Lillypots Drymen excellent food Location is excellent with view of Loch It was easy to access Loch for a swim

Do not book!

The location on the loch is beautiful.

This property was filthy upon arrival. Covered in pet hair, dust, and dead insects, it triggered an asthma attack and forced us to leave. The host refused to take responsibility or issue a refund. We had to pay for new lodging. Unprofessional, unsanitary. Do not book.

Perfect weekend away destination with stunning loch view

The location was breathtaking. Our cabin had lakeview out of the window so you could relax on the sofa. Inside, the cabin was really comfortable, spacious and spotless.

Comfortable facilities. Host was very helpful when phoned for guidance. Adjacent to hotel bar/ restaurant.

A map of the site layout and door handle/lock instructions would have been helpful. Door lock awkward to secure.

Lovely cabin by the waterside

Lovely cabin nearby the waterside . Quiet and secluded. The staff was superb , my daughter forgot to bring her toothbrush and we were given two as the location is a bit remote so shops are limited. The kitchen is equipped although some of the utensils need to be replaced. The check in procedure was fast and very clear instructions.

Perfect location, amazing property! Fantastic host too very considerate and would love to return in future! This property has everything you could possibly need, and more!

The oven is a bit temperamental as the hob does not respond correctly to the knobs and this can be a bit dangerous but worked it out in the end… Just wouldn’t want anyone to have an accident.

Maybe we are not log cabin people

Comfy beds, lots of wardrobe space. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Good location beside the loch excellent for anyone wanting to swim or paddle board and very good pub meals next to lodge site. First time staying in log cabin.

It was unbearable during the evenings due to heatwave on the 2 nights we stayed. Owner did offer a fan but I didn’t think that would make much difference- a mobile air conditioning unit might be better. Husband developed a severe heat rash. Couldn’t seem to get the ovens to cool down very quickly after evening use just to cook pizza . Fans still whirling in the morning. In the end switched off at main socket and left oven door open. Long distance from a shop and access is via a narrow country lane so definitely need to shop before arriving as very busy road with passing places . Would be useful if owner could blackout the 2 triangular windows at roof level front of lodge as contributed to heat inside and impossible to see what you’re doing in kitchen due to being blinded by sun during evening- sorry if this review sounds negative but i’m sure in less hot weather it would provide a family with a very nice stay. Also not used to midges early am and evenings

Great location for a weekend away.

Great location for Ben Lomond, there was also walks around the West Highland Way and this was all on your doorstep.

No issues at all, we ended up not using the actual BBQ and bought a disposable one instead as we had no coal or wood, maybe an option to get a bag delivered for arrival would be good.

Perfect location, good sized lodge, kitchen had all necessities, large shower, comfortable lounge

Beds were very uncomfortable and incorrectly represented in terms of size in the listing. Spider beds behind bedside drawers so not cleaned very well.

Couldn’t be happier!

It was perfect for the little escape we needed. Location was the best, looking straight onto the loch with a little beach. Cabin was perfect, warm and cosy. It was quiet and peaceful too!

Superbe lieu et superbe logement

Superbe logement ! un logement top, propre, très bien situé avec une jolie vue sur le Loch Lomond et idéal comme point de départ de randonnée. Les lits sont super confortables et de bonnes couettes bien chaudes. Notre hôte nous a accueilli avec un très grand sourire et en amont, il nous a même contacté pour nous conseiller sur diverses demandes que nous avions. Nous avons aussi découvert que juste à coté il y avait une mini boutique pour les achats essentiels.
