Excellent facilities - nice kitchen, large lounge, plenty of toilets and showers. All extremely clean. Friendly staff. The mattress had a little hollow on it but that actually made it pretty comfortable, and the pillows were nice and substantial. Short walk from town and the bus interchange. I had a bottom bunk and the sliding curtains make it nice and dark, with handy reading lights.
Very minor things - the towels (at least the one I had) are very soft but not great at drying, just move the water around; and the doors to the toilets have very little ground clearance so I nearly took my toes off a couple of times. No lockable cupboard to leave valuables.

The host was very friendly and responsive. The hostel was beautifully clean and up to date. The kitchen was well appointed and was a great spot to meet others, make meals or simply have a cup of tea. The ensuite room was lovely (fantastic shower!). The location was ideal, close to the beach and within walking distance of all the places I wanted to go.

Good location, facilities and cleanliness. Loads of space.
Maybe my experience was a bit strange just bc theres was like no one there, just me and one little old lady in my room for 4 nights. So felt a bit empty. But it was a really nice place.

Clean and modern.
Big tub of empty beer and spirit bottles by the gate didn't give a good first impression. The kitchen isn't accessible between 11am and 7am.
I was in a room on the ground floor which is quite noisy from people coming and going through the main door and up/down the stairs quite late.
No other communal area. If you can't sleep or get woken up between 11pm and 7am you've no choice but to lay in bed counting down the hours until you can make a cup of tea/coffee
Could do with a sign directing to the kitchen, it's upstairs.
