Hotel B&B il Mosaico

The hotel is located just outside Sirmione, in a peaceful and relaxing setting surrounded by greenery and beautiful detached houses with an American-style feel. The property is divided into two separate areas: the hotel and the B&B, which offers apartments. A beautiful swimming pool separates the two buildings. I stayed in the hotel and found it very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The double room was not particularly large, but it was functional and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel also features a lovely terrace on the upper floor and a delicious restaurant on the ground floor. In short, there is really everything you could need to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay. The breakfast deserves a special mention: it was rich, varied, and very good, with plenty of options to choose from. It was a great way to start the day. The owner is truly one of a kind: energetic, positive, and genuinely welcoming. He has a great personality and makes everyone feel at home. He speaks several languages and was extremely helpful and willing to accommodate every request. He is, without a doubt, the real added value of this property.

The hotel is located quite a distance from the historic city centre, which is around a 50-minute walk away. This is probably the main downside of the property, especially if you are planning to explore the centre mostly on foot. On the other hand, the hotel is well connected by public transport, making it fairly easy to reach Sirmione and the surrounding area. The only drawback is that public transport services are limited in the evening and are not available after around 9:00 pm. If you are travelling by car, however, the location becomes much more convenient. Sirmione is well equipped for visitors arriving by car, with several parking areas available near the historic centre. Overall, I would definitely recommend having a car if you want to explore the area freely, especially in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was also fantastic — perfect for cooling off and relaxing on a hot day. We had to leave early in the morning, and the staff kindly prepared breakfast for us and left it in the fridge. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture and it made our stay even better. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

the staff was very nice.

we don’t have hot water to shower.
