Hotel B&B il Mosaico

A warm welcome at the front desk. A small but cozy room equipped with everything you need. The breakfast at this hotel is simply amazing, and the staff is very, very friendly.

Nobody's perfect. There were smudges on the bathroom mirror. But that didn't dampen our wonderful impression of this hotel in the slightest.

The staff are amazing and brings so much joy to the environment. It really was a pleasure to see them every day. The facilities were immaculate. It is obvious this family owned business is run on relationships and pride.

Rooms were basic, but very comfortable and the staff did anything they could to make your stay as positive as possible.

The first mention goes to the staff, who was super friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in time and we were allowed to retrieve the keys to our room even if it wasn't ready yet, leave our luggage which was then delivered to our room, leave our car in the car parking next to the hotel. Sirmione hystorical center is a 45 min walk from the hotel, which is conveniently located not far from the highway. The room was clean and with enough space to accomodate 2 people and a toddler; we stayed in the detached house with other families, so we were less concerned about making a little extra noise which sometimes happens when you have young children around. I assume it was a thoughtful choice from the staff, we appreciate that. The hotel has a restaurant, where you can enjoy a good meal in a friendly environment, both meat, fish and pizza are available. No reservation for hotel guests is required which gives an appreciated flexibility. Breakfast in the morning is served at the restaurant itself with choice of salty and sweet options, coffe, tea or whatever you like. It is not buffet style, you have a menu from which you can choose what you like, but you'll surely be stuffed enough by the end of the meal. We were there for one night before heading to Gardaland, which is a 20 min drive away, and we were more than satisfied with our choice. It will be a good option if we happen to be in the area again.

Nothing really. Just be aware of the car parking which is in a public space adjacent to the hotel and that Sirmione city center is a little far: consider either walking (as mentioned, it took us about 45 min, there are sidewalks and all, so it is safe even with a stroller), or parking closer to the center with a fee or taking the bus. Detached house first floor is accessible by stairs only. If you have reduced mobility consider asking the staff beforehand, I'm sure they'll do their best and more to accomodate every request.
