Not a place I would stay in again unless they replaced the beds.

The property is large and spacious and in a very good area for the city.

The beds were atrocious. There were 2 double beds and 3 sets of bunk beds. The bunks squeeked even when my 19 month old grandson sat on them and the mattresses were very very lumpy. I had 2 heavily pregnant women in our party and they barely slept while they were there. I was treating my family to a trip to a festive trip to York to also visit family. It cost nearly £1000 for 2 nights and I could not be more upset that they were both in quite a bad way through lack of sleep, the rest of us coped but were not comfortable.

Lovely, comfortable home in the heart of historic York.

Amazing location right in the heart of York — we couldn’t have asked for a better spot! The house was lovely, very comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. The couple who hosted us were fantastic — great communication throughout. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return if we’re back in York!

The property is decorated and furnished to a high standard. It was spotless and had all the appliances that you need. Great central location on the riverbank. Very roomy, accommodated our group of 9 very comfortably. Beds all very comfortable, great night sleep. The hosts were really quick to respond to questions. Thank you so much.

The properly was lovely and clean, decorated really nice and in a fantastic location.

There were some bits of decorating that could’ve been touched up and the parking around the accommodation isn’t ideal.

Everything, the property was in a great location. It was clean and very well presented. The hosts were excellent and extremely accommodating, offering early check in and giving advice on the best places to visit in York .

Great Location, value for money.

Great Location, House was spotless and just a good vibe about the place. City centre location, but very quite noise wise. 6 minute walk from train station with a wheelie case.

To be honest, there was nothing that I did not like. All good and would return if in the area.

Our hosts were lovely, really helpful! The house was in an ideal location, was clean and had everything we needed. Becky even left a little surprise for us for on arrival.

the only comment we had was the size of the towels. they were lovely, clean and soft. Just a little on the small side.

The house was immaculate, well equipped and in a fantastic location. The parking permit was a real bonus. Lovely arriving to flowers on the table and prosecco. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The metal bunk beds are a little bit noisy, but we're comfortable.

Central location

Dark quiet street that seemed to attract loud drunks every night. Dirty dishwasher with old food still in and only space for 1 car. Cooker top wiped but covered in grease.

Lovely and relaxed

location was great and place comfortably accommodated our group of 8 for the weekend. A lot of the basics such as cooking thinks like oil and seasonings were available. Often places don’t provide which means buying stuff for a couple of days use.
