Great hostess, location and apartment facilities

First of all, Barbara, the landlord is an exceptional hostess. She is a fine lady who responded to all of my needs, made good suggestions regarding restaurants and sites, and even took it upon herself to get me a taxi to take me to the train station. The apartment was clean, well equipped and excellently located in the old city. The apartment was quiet and the bed was so comfortable.

I could easily give her a 10/10 were it not for the climb to the fourth floor. There is no lift so I had to climb the stairs shlepping my two heavy pieces of luggage. I am 79 years old and found this task difficult. Again, not fault of Barbara's. I come from a warm climate country and the new European directive to limit the heating temperature to no warmer than 22°C was difficult for me to deal with. I was cold, even with 5 layers of clothing. Again, not fault of Barbara's.

Perfect for stay in beautiful Modena

The place was absolutely perfect for my stay. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk to main attractions and shops. The apartment had everything I needed, very comfortable and well-equipped, and it felt like home from the moment I arrived. The host Barbara was extremely kind and always ready to help. I would definitely stay here again if back to Modena !

Very homely 2 bedroom apartment

Very cosy, comfortable apartment with everything you needed. Comfortable bed, cute bathroom. Our lovely host, Barbara, came over to greet us. She was very helpful about the area, even texting good eateries. You could feel love in all the little special things around. Only drawback was the unit was on top fourth floor, with no lift.

Fantastic location in the heart of Modena for people who don't mind a few stairs.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of Modena, close to restaurants and the train and bus stations. Having 2 bedrooms meant that there was plenty of space. The owner was very helpful, suggesting a good restaurant for the first night and booking it for us on the spot.

The lack of a lift makes arrival a bit hard, since the luggage needs to be carried up stairs for 4 (quite high) storeys. The shower is small, and a proper ironing board (instead of using the table) would have been nice.

We loved our stay, if we ever go to Modena again, we will definitely try to stay at this place again.

The flat is really nice, ideal for three people. Beds comfortable. Also fully equipped kitchenette if you need to cook anything pls complementary coffee and tea. It is located maybe 5 minutes from the city center, yet still in a quiet area. The hostess was really nice, always asking if we need anything, very kind. The communication with her was also without any problems. wlShe was always very helpful.

Excelente en todo sentido

Bárbara fue muy amable y atenta. Nos permitió dejarle nuestro equipaje mientras limpiaba el departamento antes del horario de check in. Incluso nos dejó un pequeño presente por navidad. El departamento está muy completo. Es cómodo y ámplio. La cocina tiene todos los utensilios que alguien podría necesitar estando de viaje, e incluso para cocinar comidas más elaboradas. Había cosas lavarropas y tendedero, paraguas para usar, libros, gran variedad de juegos de mesa, televisores en todos los ambientes, etc. Más que sentirnos en un alquiler temporal, nos sentimos en nuestra casa.

El único detalle en el que falla es que no tiene radiadores en todos los ambientes, solo en la sala de estar. Eso hace que, en días de mucho frío, haya que tener el termostato al máximo por un tiempo con todas las puertas abiertas para que los dormitorios estén calentitos. Una noche incluso hemos dormido con la puerta abierta del dormitorio para recibir el calor desde la entrada.

Ci è piaciuta la proprietaria Barbara Host di CA POMPOSA disponibile e gentilissima. La struttura si trova in una posizione comoda centrale, non manca nulla ci sono tutte le comodità che servono a una famiglia. Andrò sicuramente ad alloggiarvi di nuovo sperando di trovarla libera.

Comfort, comodità, relax, tutto a portata di mano in una splendida location

La posizione è meravigliosa, ad un passo sia dalla stazione che dal centro. Vicino a tanti bellissimi posti da vedere. L'appartamento è delizioso, una vera bomboniera, tenuto perfettamente, molto pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort, ideale per vacanze sia d'estate che d'inverno. Proprietaria (Barbara) adorabile, super disponibile.

Se proprio devo trovato un neo i quattro piani a piedi con la valigia, ma lo sforzo viene ripagato dalla "meravigliosità" dell'appartamento e dalle dotazioni dello stesso.

Très agréable séjour au coeur du centre touristique de Modena.

L'appartement de Barbara est parfait pour un moyen séjour à deux. Il est très bien équipé et nous avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin : vaisselle, ustensiles de toilette, indications touristiques... Nous avons rencontré Barbara qui a été très disponible et sympathique pour nous indiquer des activités et nous renseigner sur la région. Situer entre la gare et le centre ville, il permet de tout visiter à pied et de faire des escapades d'une journée dans les villes environnantes (Parma, Bologna, Mantova...). Ce fut un plaisir d'échanger avec Barbara, une belle qualité d'accueil. Nous recommandons.

Appartamento in posizione strategica: vicino a tutti i servizi, in un quartiere animato da una vita serale bella e gioiosa, ma protetto da qualsiasi rumore fastidioso. Ogni stanza è curata nel minimo dettaglio e dotata di ogni comfort. Letti comodi e perfetta climatizzazione. La signora che gestisce è super carina e molto disponibile. In assoluto è il posto giusto per visitare Modena!!

Soggiorno piacevole e consigliato!

La posizione è il top, in super centro accanto a tutti i servizi. La proprietaria si è resa disponibile per tutto, estremamente cortese e gentile.

Se devo proprio trovare un difetto, abbiamo sofferto il caldo perché la struttura si trova in alto, in cima al palazzo e l’aria condizionata è presente ma non è potentissima. Preciso comunque che abbiamo avuto la sfortuna di imbatterci in una nottata estremamente calda.

L'esperienza molto positiva e piacevole

L'esperienza e molto positiva. Sono stata molto bene. L'appartamento è molto carino, curato nei dettagli, non è grande, ma tutto organizzato molto bene, comodo, per vivere, mi sembrava di essere l'ospite in casa di una amica. In cucina non mancano le cose essenziali come caffè, tè, olio, ecc. Luminoso ma con tende che chiudono bene per dormire. Nell'ambiente adiacente alle camere da letto c'è il condizionatore, l'aria fredda arriva alla camera da letto, più c'è il ventilatore, quindi anche se sono arrivate le giornate calde mi sentivo bene. L'appartamento si trova al centro, al quarto piano. La proprietaria e' molto disponibile e ospitale. Grazie Barbara per bel soggiorno a casa tua!

Una piccola cosa personale un po' dalla persona claustrofobica:), visto che siamo in mansarda, le finestre nelle camere da letto si trovano molto in sù, quindi si vede poco fuori dalla finestra.(Nonostante questo, come ho scritto nelle cose piaciute, tutto e' luminoso, in cucina addirittura la finestra si apre nel soffitto e si vede il cielo e allora tutto questo diventa il vantaggio). Mi piacerebbe non trovare sacchetti spazzatura degli ospiti precedenti.

Joli appartement confortable, bien décoré et très bien équipé, tout le nécessaire en cuisine, bouilloire, cafetière, basiques (sel, huile etc), brochures et plan de la ville à disposition, même des jeux! Literie confortable Bonne communication avec l'hôte et arrivée facile Super emplacement dans la ville
