Vacanze Romane Colosseo apartment

The hosts are a very nice family (husband and wife, and the mom is the portiere and the dad is always around as well). It felt more like "home" to me visiting this place... especially when I met Luigi outside the palazzo, just like how my grandfather would be standing outside! The place is the perfect size for 4 people, and was very clean. The best part is they had enough kitchen things for me to actually cook! We were 4 people with 2 very picky kids. One of the ways to make the travel easier was to keep their food routine as close to "normal" as possible, which meant I needed to cook for them. Most of the time, a place will have a kitchen but missing some essential things like a cutting board, or only have one pot and one pan. This place has actually a functional kitchen! The balcony was perfect, the kids enjoyed it and I was able to wash and dry clothes easily by hanging them outside. WiFi functioned perfectly, iron and ironing board are essentials for me and the iron is a really good quality! I'm Italian, and normally I miss these "essentials" (iron, at least two pots and two pans, una tagliera, etc.), and this place really has everything for the more "domestic" traveler! Also, the location is great - there are several buses (51, 87, and I think 85) and also at least one tram (3), and it's within reasonable walking distance from TWO metro stops - one along metro A and one along metro B. Really, this place is amazing.

The place is basically perfect for a family, or a couple!!! If anything, I was sometimes looking for one or two more serving dishes - like to store food in the fridge for the next day - because we were 4 people and there are exactly 4 place settings. But this is such a minor thing - by far, this is the best place I have stayed and it's perfect if you have kids. There is nothing negative to say, really...

It’s a few blocks away from the Coliseum in one direction and the subway in the other, so it’s great for touring! This basement apartment actually has nice light, a nice patio for morning coffee and everything you need to stay for as long as you like.

El apartamento se encuentra en un sotano que es inseguro , frio y humedo no llega ni siquiera la señal de internet , para empeorar imposible tomar la señal wifi a pesar de tratar de colocar la clave 20 veces . la ducha es incómoda y el agua caliente no funciona a veces te quema y otras esta fria
