Chalet Ski Académie - Serre Chevalier

Brand new, amazing views. Kind and caring hosts. They tend to your every need. Helpful with every question. Great location also, very quiet. Only 5 minutes away from skiing.

The bed was too comfortable, I could have slept for days. Was very hard to wake up.

The chalet is very new and modern. It's a gorgeous building with lovely views over the valley, and was kept clean. The room was large and well heated, with very comfortable beds and nice bed linen. Water pressure in the shower was great. The hosts kindly lent my friend a spare ski jacket when he forget his, and recommended us restaurants to book when we asked. There's a free shuttle service to and from the slopes at certain times of the day, which we used once or twice. There are heated boot warmers and plenty of place to store skis and helmets.

Be aware that booking.com states the nearest ski lift is 250 yards away when it's actually 2.5km. We had no curtain or shutters across the window in our room (room 5). Although it was a lovely view we felt exposed and were glad we had packed eye masks. We didn't receive hand towels, and the toilet is shared and not part of the private bathroom, which we weren't expecting. There is no TV in the room. On the evening we chose to eat at the chalet (a service offered for €15) we were surprised to be told that we couldn't be served wine with dinner, which is unusual for a chalet. Although the lasagne, bread and salad we ate was very nice, it didn't feel like great value for the price. There is an in-house cat (who is very sweet) but think it should be clear on the listing, as if you had an allergy this would be a problem. The owners also keep the litter tray in the kitchen in view of where we ate breakfast which was a bit unpleasant. Breakfast was simply bread with butter and jam, cereal and tangerines. One day we were offered scrambled eggs which was good, and there was nice coffee. But it would have been nice to have pastries, more varied fruit, yoghurts, that kind of thing.

Très beau chalet situé dans un cadre reposant avec vue sur la vallée enneigée . Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes , ces derniers très sympathiques au demeurant . Très bonne literie . Nous pouvions au même étage où il y avait notre chambre nous préparer des boissons chaudes et fraîches ( réfrigérateur et micro ondes à disposition ) . Nous avons pris un bon repas le samedi soir en compagnie de nos hôtes . Nous recommandons vivement cette chambre d hôtes . Nous reviendrons .

Très beau chalet idéalement situé à proximité des pistes. Dès notre arrivée nous avons été guidés avec des recommandations (partenaires pour location de ski etc). Les dîners préparés sont de qualité avec des hôtes qui mettent très à l’aise. Merci mille fois. On recommande !
