Great value, if you're OK walking fairly steep hills.

Our room was clean, beds were perfect (a queen mattress was a queen mattress, not two twins side-by-side), shower worked great, breakfast was well worth it. Had no issues with service, they have a storage room for early arrival/late departure and have facilities to change (but no shower) if you do some skiing between your checkout and afternoon travel.

As others pointed out, walking to/from the ski lift may be a problem if your group has someone with mobility issues - the hotel is up a fairly steep (~1/10 pitch) hill along what can be a very busy street with plenty of diesel exhaust. There is a local bus stop right across the street, but be prepared to pay - the hotel voucher was not accepted by the driver.

A very well located comfortable hotel

The hotel is well located very near the old town and it is a 10 minute walk to the Grande Rue. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty to eat at breakfast.

Lacks parking but a good room and location

Lovely triple room with patio doors and balcony looking into the garden and mountain. Very comfortable beds and bedding.

There was no space in the very limited parking which was not made clear from the booking information. It was full when we arrived and the only parking was public parking across the road. Insecure parking even if free was a concern when the car was full whilst we were travelling. More annoyingly was a very unsympathetic attitude from the staff member. It was a shame as the hotel room and location are good. Probably best to ring ahead and ask for a parking space to be reserved. However there was space for motorbikes. There is also no blue badge/disabled parking space and steps to the entrance and no lift to the rooms so not good for disabled travellers. I noted that at least 2 of the 9 places were local number plates so probably staff.

OK for a budget overnight stop on a road trip.

Small room with no balcony. Very poor water pressure in the shower. Fairly secure parking for our motorcycles. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but plentiful.

Good location just a short (uphill) stroll from old town. Parking at the hotel. Affordable for the location. Good views to the mountains. Very friendly staff offering helpful tips on places to visit and general welcoming chat.

Room was clean and cozy. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel staff was very friendly. Great location for access to everything in Briancon.

Great hotel stay in Briancon

Gregoire and the staff made us feel very welcome. The hotel was clean and cozy and we really enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The hotel is a short walk up a hill from one of the big ski lifts which was great. It’s also a short walk to Briançon old town.

A comfortable hotel located in between the historic town and the more modern part of the city. Very nice staff and very good breakfast. Facilities are clean and well-maintained

The hotel small parking lot has no parking spot for ars owned by handicapped people. No elevator available.

Family overnight stay

Stay for overnight, great location, room comfy and big enough for the 4 of us. One queen room and two sofa beds. Nice breakfast. Parking was available for free across the street as the hitel oarking was full.

Nice comfortable hotel

The hotel is in a great location for visiting the old town and parking is secure. The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom had a great shower. The balcony was nice and comfortable to sit outside.

The room was quite hot and there is no air conditioning. We knew that when we booked but it would have been good to have had a fan.

We would stay again but would hope the few niggles would be sorted.

We've stayed here a few times but the last was 3 years ago. We like the hotel and its location with Briancon being a great cycling centre. The rooms are clean and modern and a good size.

A couple of disappointments. Our room had a kettle and coffee maker. On our first night we had a couple of coffee pods and 1 tea bag, no milk! Extra coffee pods can be bought at reception. For our second night we had no more coffee pods and no more tea bags. Really a waste of time putting these in a room if supplies are not refreshed. The is a good choice for breakfast but the bread was disappointing, very hard crust and basically air inside. Not a traditional baguette.
