Pantheon Roma Suite

The location is superb! Loved having 1.5 baths, bed was comfortable, and place was clean.

The Gelato shop right on our front door. Seriously, it made me gain weight from all their delicious gelatos and crepes lol

Great location and good size apartment. Kitchen facilities was added bonus.

A little noise at night.

Location location location! In the middle of things and walking distance from anywhere. Included coffee and croissants plus discounted breakfast at the cafe downstairs. Two bathrooms: it’s a plus for 4 people.

The neighborhood can be noisy until midnight but suportabile. The extendable couch kind of uncomfortable, the bathroom was small, the stairs very steep and the exit from the building was by the garbage bins. But keep in mind that it’s a very old building as all in the center area, so you can live with all the above.

The hosts were very responsive on WhatsApp, provided shuttle service and a few recommendations in Rome. The location is super central, right next to Pantheon, so you have basically everything (from Vatican to Colosseum) in a walking distance.

Unfortunately, our stay was not as comfortable as we wanted: - The room got super cold at night (it was ok during the day, so we didn't notice), down to 10 degrees as we were just freezing and had to sleep in our sweaters. Apparently, there is a heating system, but hosts forgot to tell us until we complained about cold next morning. Then it became better, but well, our comfort was damaged :( - The location is very bustling, which looks great in the evening, but also very disturbing at night - you wake up many times a night due to sirens, people screaming or chatting etc. The apartment has newish double windows, so they tried to fix it, but either they don't close properly or it's simply not enough to have sound proofing. - The floors are tiles and super cold as well, so bring shoes / slippers, which we didn't have - The apartment provided jams and cookies, but e.g. no tea / coffee. I'd prefer the opposite :D - The breakfast is included, but that means you can a coffee + croissant at the coffee shop around the corner. Better then nothing, but we were also very surprised at the attitude from the cafe there - we didn't have any coupon / voucher from the apartment and they were somehow very suspicious that we get coffee for free, asking many times to prove it with a messages from the host at every table (cashier / barista - all separate). We got our coffee and left to never return there since we felt very unwelcome. I can't blame hosts on most of this (except the heating, which is obviously important in winter), but all-in-all, we couldn't relax here.
