Casa Bella Pantheon

Location. Absolutely the best. We walked to all of the major sights. Max 30 mins walk. Most 20 or less with the Pantheon just on your door step. Really nice neighbourhood. Lively street but sound proofing in the bedroom you could barely hear the street noise. We stayed in the Sirio apartment. Great space for two adults and two teenagers. Bathroom spacious. Lots of room for suitcases. Fridge in room. Nice shared kitchen facilities if you need them. Air conditioning which was needed in late September as Rome still very warm King size bed was a great size and really comfortable

The shower was broken when we arrived. It was functional as a hand held option only despite having a rain shower head and a moveable shower head. Rain shower water trickled out slightly and the moveable shower, the clip to hold it in position was broken. I contacted the office to have someone look at the first day. Was reported back as working fine. I sent a video showing how it did not work fine. Once they had this, the rain shower head was replaced quickly and I assume they have ordered a part for the moveable shower head. So on our final night 3/3 we were able to have a nice shower. Water pressure is excellent

How central it was and comfortable

It was the perfect location for everything. Lots of restaurants , cafes and shops on the doorstep and within walking distance of all major attractions. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Communication from the host was very good during the day. We would stay again for the convenient location.

The staircase was very dark in places. We heard everything in the room next door even though they were not particularly loud - just generally chatting. The emergency telephone number was not answered when there was an issue through the night when we tried to access our room and someone else was in it. This caused a great deal of stress with our booking being cancelled and us having to rebook to keep the room. Although this was not the immediate fault of the host, if the phone had been answered, the issue could’ve been rectified sooner. It might be a good idea to change the self check in procedure so not everyone has access to everyone else’s apartment keys.

Great location!

Not clean! There’s mold all in the walls of the shower and bathroom, and the beds were awful. They ‘cleaned our room’ once in our 3 night stay, didn’t replace any toilet paper, and TURNED OFF THE AC! We got back from being out (it was 38 degrees) and the room was warm!! There is no staff there except for a few hours a day so we had to go buy toilet paper. They also would not let me pay the tourist tax in cash, as it was online only, but then they charge you a €4.10 fee for using the online system…… I understand it’s only a few euros but we bring cash to places for a reason!
