Caledonia House

This is the second time we have stayed at Caledonia House. Welcoming, clean, comfortable. Will definitely be returning for a third visit.

Did what I wanted it to do. I basically needed a bed for the night, to avoid an early start and rush hour traffic drive to collect people from the Cruise port. Location was spot on for that, easy to find, close to the port, and close to Kincardine bridge, which is the direction I came in from.Lesley was delightful host, house clean , and continental style breakfast just what was needed for a quick, and delicious feed before nipping down to collect my passengers when they phoned ( at 8:30 ! )

Nothing really, apart from lack of en suite in the single room. However that is all I asked for, and the separate toilet was handy for the room, and not utilised by the other guests so I suppose it was as good as a private toilet. For the money and the pur[pose I needed it was 100% perfect. Also handy for the Indian / Asian buffet , 5 mins walk away at the top of the mainroad .

Lindsey was a wonderful host and the breakfast was excellent. She had a lovely spread of food for us in the morning and we had an enjoyable time with the the other guest that were staying there. Would highly recommend this place.

Convenient for a one night stay

Having to share a bathroom & a basic breakfast. Would have been prepared to pay more for an en-suite and a better breakfast
