Pleasant stay. Convenient for visiting family.

Good selection of continental and hot food.

We didnt get the chance to look at the menu before we were asked if we would like tea/coffee. Hot chocolate was on the menu but not offered. We did however order it after breakfast. We noticed that continental was offered as well as our hot food. We selected continental prior to a hot breakfast but no time given to eat it. Had we been staying for more than one night we wouldve ordered hot food after we'd eaten continental.

Didn’t get a good night sleep. TV blaring in next room until late, and a man with a horrendous cough which went on all night. Wall seemed paper thin Itwas third time I had stayed in hotel over a month. Food was ok, fresh but most choices in batter or chips with everything

Reception staff were welcoming

Staff in the morning were something else it was like a episode of faulty towers and rooms next to each other were dangerous with the stairs and fire exit that you open and there is a drop its very disorientated in the part we were in. Also no policy for breakfast charging for children.... let's see what they eat isn't really very helpful

The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, given that I turned up early. The staff all were helpful, whether at breakfast or later having a drink in the bar.

The room was comfortable but some of the corridors and common areas are looking a little tired.

Breakfast was excellent, good choice with good food well presented by pleasant staff. The shower was good.

The room was very poor. We were in the attic up two floors which was difficult to access. The decor is very dated and in desperate need of an update and the carpet was very badly stained and in reality disgusting.

Perfect place to celebrate a special Birthday. Staff are wonderful and the breakfast was outstanding.

Pitbauchlie had a slightly “step back in time “ feel to it which we really enjoyed. It was very quiet and comfortable and the bars and restaurant were warm and welcoming. The gardens are beautiful, and surprisingly, in the middle of October,on one of our days, we were able to sit out and enjoy some late Autumn sunshine. I can only imagine that in the summer months it would be idyllic.

There was no lift , which for us wasn’t a problem but perhaps for some people might be. There was only two levels, ground and first but stairs can still be an issue for some.

Best Booking.com Hotel in Dunfermline.

We had a wonderful stay, the gardens were wonderful, our room was very comfortable. I had the best nights sleep. Bathroom was excellent gorgeous shower. It was lovely and quiet you wouldn't know you were close to city centre.. we had dinner in the restaurant, plenty of selection on menu. We had fish and chips best ever. Hubby had apple tart for pudding, I had a banoffeee sundae, OMG, no words fab.

Such a relaxing weekend.

Great hotel, fantastic breakfast, decent cost, overall loved the place, comfortable bed and such friendly staff good location. We had the windows open for the 2 nights we were there and they had functions on both nights and we couldn’t hear anything and had a wonderful sleep. Nice clean room as well. We stayed on the left side of the property.

Functional as an overnight stay for business. Not up to standard for a recreational visit.

Breakfast staff are very hospitable and breakfast is cooked fresh to order.

Condition of room is best described as tired and dated. Trouser press did not work. Breakfast does not start until 7am. This is too late for a business stay when I need to be in-office by 8am. I recommend breakfast should start at 0630am. Evening meal menu is limited, and as a frequent guest it is becoming very repetitive. Please change the menu occasionally

Lovely staff, great location and decent value too!

Lovely staff and very helpful. The room had a beautiful view over to the Forth Road Bridges. The room was clean and tidy and the facilities were fine.

Like many hotels, 3 of the 4 disabled spaces were filled with cars without blue badges. I wish all hotels would periodically check and get them moved.

Clean, comfortable and good location

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful with local area knowledge. Restaurant and bar facilities were good with a wide selection of food and drinks for all, the only negative is that they ran out of Steak & Ale pies ;) The rooms were clean, well-equipped and comfortable.

Only one bit of feedback, and it's very minor, having a direct line or list of taxi numbers would be useful at the front desk. Although, the reception staff were really helpful in organising a taxi for our group. Point to note: there are no uber drivers in operation in Dunfermline.

A very pleasant stay and Dunfermline was an ideal base for all the places we intended to visit.

Very good breakfast with plenty of choices both continental and cooked. The room was slightly small but did not impact on our stay. Good storage. Lovely bathroom. Being on the east side of the hotel the room was a wee bit dark but this was due to the trees. Had dinner there each night, very tasty and freshly cooked but would have liked it if there were more dishes with potatoes and veg rather than rice or chips. Staff were very pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. Garden was lovely to sit in and relax.

Location is good. Staff at the restaurant and reception was nice and friendly. Food at restaurant was tasty. Bathrooms are clean and modern.

Excellent and Elegant Property - Charming!

This is a beautiful property. Extremely elegant. Very comfortable bed and well designed rooms with all amenities one would like in a hotel room. Parking was good and the restaurant was convenientl, reasonabley priced, and served good food. And the property is a short and easy drive to the historic sights. Highly recommend staying here!
