I received a very warm welcome and was treated to fresh eggs milk butter and bread, the property is clean and well presented, the fire place was amazing and relaxing watching an open fire.

A beautiful fireplace and to be situated in a stunning part of Armagh we didn’t know existed, though my mother had been born in County Armagh. Our hosts had horses and one of the mares had a foal during the night which was a strange and rather wonderful feeling. Our two small dogs (we had brought covers for all the chairs) settled in as if they had come home, and especially loved the open fire. As we were leaving we took a seed pod from the single flowered hollyhock in the garden. So that if they grow we will always have a reminder of our stay at the Cuckoo’s Nest.
The fridge is too small, considering there are no shops near.

Beautiful, clean and cosy accommodation with fabulous countryside views. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend the Cuckoo’s Nest for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!
