5 Nights Sperrinview House

Sperrinview House is beautiful and more spacious than we expected. It is in an ideal location, a short walk to the town or perfect for going further a field like Donegal or Belfast. The hosts Siobhan and John have thought of everything, with great little touches throughout. We especially loved the main bathroom with the basket of essentials and the various seating areas where we could relax.

A perfect stay at a wonderful location

We had a wonderful stay at Sperrinview House, and our hosts couldn't do enough to make our stay a comfortable one. The house is really comfortable with lots of space, and the kitchen and bathrooms are well-equipped. It's also worth noting that Magherafelt is one of the friendliest towns in Ulster, and there's a great positive buzz around the place. I'd also note that this is an ideal location for exploring the rest of the North, with Belfast and the north coast in easy reach. The view of Slieve Gallion every morning is just priceless...

The house is lovely, great rooms, really nicely decorated and maintained . Lovely personal touches like a cool box and stuff to go on a picnic, toiletries in all the bathrooms and a lovely welcome basket.

Stunning. Like a home away from home. Could easily have stayed longer than just a weekend. The views are exceptional, the hosts are so personal and friendly, such a warm welcome. This is a hidden gem & we will definitely return

It was a very pleasant stay and highly recommendable.

The location is ideal due to being in the centre of Northern Ireland, which meant that day trips were no more than 30-40 mile trip at the most. The owners were extremely helpful and kind and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. It was also a very peaceful location despite being fairly close to the town centre. The local supermarket is less than a mile away.

If you are 6ft plus, you might struggle to get comfortable in the beds. I'm 6ft3 and my feet were over the end of the wooden frame of the bed which was a bit uncomfortable. It's not a deal breaker though! The light fitting in the downstairs toilet could also present an issue for taller people. I came into contact with it frequently as it's over the sink and difficult to avoid. It would be a simple fix for the owners though, again, a very minor point which doesn't detract from the experience. Lastly, I felt that some of the pots and pans were well past it, especially the small frying pan. Again, a minor point.

Perfect for our needs (Family Visit)

Fantastic communication right from the off when I made my booking. The host was absolutely lovely and met us on arrival at the house, showed us all around and I was very pleased with my booking. Also a great touch a basket with essentials tea,coffee, milk, biscuits, milk which was a great help Location was perfectly placed for getting to Magherafelt only 5 minutes away, peaceful and beautiful view of the town, countryside and mountain.
