We used Emy Lake to attend a wedding in Glaslough and it was perfect for our needs and close by!

Location bedside a beautiful lake which you could walk around - 4kms. Very quiet and peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen

Good but with a few changes could be very good

Situated in a good location overlooking the lake, although the sofa in front of the french doors obscured the view when seated on the other sofa. Seating and the bed were all comfortable. There was seating outside on a patio. Plenty of parking space. Hostess was friendly.

The kitchen was not very well equipped , cutlery and crockery were not all matching and there were a number of random items in the cupboards. It was sufficient for a short stay. (we understand the Lakehouse offers packages for groups sometimes which possibly restricts what the owner would want to do in the apartment)

Location was very good as we were attending a Wedding at Castle Leslie, 10 mins drive away. Comfortable bed, had our cupa in t morning in t patio looking out on a lovely lake. Took a walk by t lake in t mornings.

Beautiful place!

Beautiful setting! Lovely and spacious. Comfortable double room in quiet location overlooking the lake. Although we didn't get to meet Geraldine in person she was so welcoming and called us to check if we needed a lift to the wedding we were attending. Would definitely stay again thanks v much

We needed somewhere to stay for the night whilst we were attending a wedding a few minutes drive away in castle Leslie. It had everything we needed, plus the benefit of being in a beautiful location with a lake view. The owner, Geraldine, was so helpful. Excellent hosting!!!

Comfortable, relaxing & totally enjoyable.

The location was excellent and covered our needs for proximity to Castle Leslie. The owner Geraldine couldn't have been more help and I would certainly recommend the property.

Google dropped when we reached the village but, we contacted Geraldine and she literally guided us step by step to the property. Such a very kind lady !

A lovely setting by the lake

Great location and lovely setting by the lake. We really enjoyed being able to run round the lake in the morning and loved having the cows in the adjoining field, a really lovely setting. A hands off approach from the host was mostly appreciated and easy, though a bit more info would have been handy to confirm. Was really handy for a wedding at castle Leslie estate.

The place could have been a bit cleaner. Lots of dog hair and stuff on the floors and the bins hadn’t been emptied in the bathroom and bedroom. Towels were a bit musty. Would have been good to know that the road to the property was closed for road works.

Fantastic place to stay

Everything was lovely, really high spec. Host was very friendly and made sure we were happy, which we were. Views were fantastic, I was disappointed we could only stay for one night. Great value for money. Will definitely be back.
