Very good place to stay

Wonderful place to stay, only ten minutes from Castle Leslie. Lovely host.

Geraldine, our host rang us in advance to let us know we could check in, and met us at the studio. The property is modern and has a lovely layout and wonderful views of the lake.

Cluttered room, loose dog on property.

Easy check in, room was clean. Nice view.

Room was extremely cluttered, not tidy like the pictures (dog bed in picture is mine). There was a dog loose around the properly day and night, not ideal for owners with reactive dogs. Friendly dog nonetheless.

A disaster..

Emy Lake Studio had a lovely view of the lake from the main door. Met the owner very soon after we arrived and was very friendly. Advise given to us with regard traffic etc which was much appreciated.We were also offered an extra night, no charge, as there was nobody booked in for the following night. Owners dog adorable.

Just after we arrived, we met the owner, who was very friendly. Hadn't really seen the studio properly at this point, so when asked if everything was okay, I said, absolutely. On closer inspection, it was obvious the floor wasn't hoovered, under the bed, especially obvious. There were crumbs on the table, the bed linen definitely didn't look fresh, the ensuite was clean, not spotless. Our stay was very disappointing, and had it not been so late after the event we were attending, we would have tried to get accommodation elsewhere.

A lovely cosy warm and inviting place to stay.

A really lovely cosy apartment to stay in. It had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. The location was very peaceful and the views spectacular. I was greeted by the very lovely Geraldine who was so friendly and helpful. Geraldine very kindly sent me my charger that I forgot. Thank you Geraldine. I looking forward to booking with you again.

We had a wonderful stay in Emy Lakehouse, we were thrilled to find out when we arrived that we were upgraded by our lovely host Geraldine. We were attending a wedding reception in Castle Leslie and Emy Lakehouse was the perfect place to stay for this, very convenient and local taxis available for the short return trip. Emy Lakehouse is situated in such a peaceful location with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding countryside, lovely to see lots of little rabbits playing outside in the grass. It is very spacious, with comfortable beds, tastefully furnished and maintained to a very high standard. We enjoyed a tasty home cooked breakfast the next morning, personally delivered by Geraldine. I would 100% recommend this property. Thank you for making our stay so perfect Geraldine :)

The host was very gracious and helpful by giving us a ride to the house from the bus stop and connected us to various resources to enhance our stay. We stayed at the lake house and it is a beautiful home.

Great little studio

Had a lovley stay here over the weekend. Great view of the lake, quiet location, comfortable beds all you need for a weekend stay. Geraldine was great even offered her sofa for our friend who's accommodation got cancelled

Very comfortable, beautiful views - I would have loved more time.

Beautiful views and I had a morning swim in the lake.

Very well serviced with all the cooking equipment you would need. I was only staying a night (arriving late and leaving early) so it would have been great to have even a drop of long life milk as nothing open close by!!

Tranquil oasis

Beautiful location, very quiet with fantastic view. Clean, fluffy towels. Fridge, microwave, crockery and tea towels provided. Excellent reception wifi.

The studio was very clean and comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for, somewhere to put the head but very close to Glaslough/ Castle Leslie. The hosts were very relaxed about checking in/out. They even dropped me into Castle Leslie and they were very polite and hospitable.

We were staying in the area for a friend's birthday party so the room was ideal. Geraldine was very friendly and even gave us a lift to the local pub which I thought was so kind. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning. I would definitely stay there again. Bruno the dog was very cute too 🐶🙌👌

Amazing service and view of the lake

The studio is so nice, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view to the lake during the sunrise is an spectacle and at any time of the day. Geraldine is lovely, i never met before such a warm and welcoming host. It's so bad we stayed for a short time and we couldn't say goodbye and thank you in person! But we will definitely come back and i would 100% recommend to anybody that is planning a get away in Monaghan.

What more could you need

From the moment we arrived we were very welcomed. The studio was so clean and had everything we needed. I've never been away to somewhere that had such comfortable beds! A great night sleep was definitely had ☺️. Location was perfect for our trip. The view was amazing and Bruno was also a great host who was very happy to see us ☺️. We would definitely be staying here again if we were to ever venture to that part of the country again. Would definitely recommend to a friend
