Clover Cottage

A beautiful and charming cottage in a picturesque village. We loved our weekend and the cottage is excellent value for money as it has everything you would need for a base to explore the nearby towns and villages and the wider Cotswolds. For us it was the perfect location close to the areas of Bourton on the Water and Stowe which we wanted to revisit after previous trips to the Cotswolds. Clear arrival instructions though definitely use the recommended what.three.words location if arriving at night as, without street lights, it was hard to find in the dark. Lovely cosy living room with prime and Netflix meant we had somewhere to unwind after our busy days exploring. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back here on our next visit to this beautiful area of the country and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable base.

We loved staying at Clover Cottage! Such a lovely and comfortable cottage. The location is perfect! It has all the facilities and it is very spacious. The exteriores are so pleasant. The car park is a valuable bonus.

Gorgeous location, lovely neighbours and clean. However, over-priced and under-delivered in comparison to all the other cottages we’ve stayed at in the Cotswolds.

Clover cottage is damp and needs investment and improvements throughout. Check-in from 4pm was positioned as a favour. Check-out between 08:00-09:30 on Sunday is mean. The printed instructions to strip the beds, do the housework made us feel like we were unpaid skivvies, rather than paying guests there to enjoy a holiday. Clover cottage lacks all the warmth and welcoming touches that other cottages provide as standard. Eg, milk and toilet roll. It does however provide plenty of dishwasher tablets and washing-up liquid.
