Old Bank Flat -Beautiful Cotswold apartment

The property has good location. The flat is extremely aesthetic, clean and cosy. The kitchen is well-designed.

The pathway leading to up to the property was dark in the night but otherwise alright. Just a suggestion, kindly provide foot stool in the bathroom as the bath tub is too high.

We really enjoyed staying at the property. It was beautifully - and thoughtfully (by someone involved in fashion, perhaps?) - furnished, had everything we needed, and in a very convenient location for walking to nearby shops, restaurants, and pubs. Also, we highly recommend the Indian restaurant, conveniently situated right across the street!

The only thing is that there wasn't any sensor lighting going round to the back of the property to get to the front door, and its very dark back there at night. We had to use our phone torches. No biggie, though.

Fantastic location, you couldn’t get better. Decor of the apartment was very nice.

Beds and pillows very uncomfortable and cleaning of certain areas wasn’t great. One bedroom had a sky light directly above bed with no blinds on.

Well let's start with the deposit, immediately on booking you receive mails every other day to fill up deposit and insurance money. That's okay if you get such regular updates for your arrival. On the day of the checkin ,we get just one email with the details and about 20 don't do this . Are we school children ? That's okay too. The check in information says the property is right next to ace of spuds store. You will die trying to find ace of spuds as it has seized to exist for quote few years. The property management company has not bothered to update that . They expect you to figure it out. On calling there was no one who responded. What an experience !!! . We found the entry eventually. The property name door is no larger that 3 inches tall and 8 inches wide. There's an alleyway leading up to the the flat entrance. There are no lights on that alleyway. With 2 seniors and 4 suitcases , we had to use our torch lights. Wow , Wonderful start to this stay. First thing you look forward to inside the apartment is some tea / coffee and some snacks . Well, the kettle has paint chipping off on the inside, there's no cutlery in the house only laddles and pans. Luckily we had spoons of our own and used the microwave to heat up the water. You haven't even settled in and you get one more email from the property manager, not asking how was your experience but stating once again the RULES. it felt as though we were intruders rather than guests. Well to sum it all up , we get another mail on the day of our check out , with ' please do this before leaving ' , another 15 points. The property is good, but the property managers should learn a few things about hospitality
