Old Bank Flat Beautiful Cotswold Apt

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank Flat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The living area was also comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely, although the bath may be a little awkward to get in and out of if you are shorter. The location is excellent — right in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with plenty of good pubs, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was good too, with plenty of spaces in the nearby paid-for car park. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The Model Village is directly across the road and well worth visiting, with Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum also close by. Stow-on-the-Wold, with its large Tesco, is only a short drive away if you want to stock up and cook yourself. The only minor downside is that, being so central, you can hear the shop downstairs setting up from around 7am. This wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to bear it in mind. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, both by phone and email. Overall, a lovely, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. We'd happily stay again.
