The cottage was a lovely home base for exploring the Cotswolds. The kitchen had everything we could need to prepare a meal and the setting was lovely. It is a quick 10-minute walk to downtown Bourton-on-the-Water (bring a torch if you are out after dark, the paths can be quite dark) and we enjoyed getting fresh milk from Greystones across the field. The Coop for groceries at the end of the road was very conveniently located as well. Tishy was lovely, providing us with wine and local Brie and a small bouquet of flowers from her garden. It was tranquil and quiet, the perfect holiday. We look forward to returning!

The property was clean, well-supplied, and the location was excellent! We particularly enjoyed walking through the Greystones and learning about the long history of the area.

Fabulous property with everything you’d possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location of the property was also great as it felt quite secluded but was actually only a 10 minute walk into Bourton centre (a decent torch is recommended though if you’re walking back at night as the lane is not lit). The property owner was lovely to deal with and left us a welcome pack which was very thoughtful.

The cottage is very nice and has all you need for a pleasant stay. In case you need something and/or want some ideas what to do/where to go, Tichy ( Patricia) and Richard are ready to help. But the best thing about this cottage is it's LOCATION : starting from the cottage you can start kicking, cycling and you can visit a lot of little beautifull little towns, castles/mannors, gardens, ... after only a 30 min. drive. Oxford, Blenheim, the birthplace of Shakespeare, ... are within a 60 min. drive. We really loved the Cotswolds. PS: It is correct what you read about Burton-on-the-water : it is by far too touristic, unless you visit it before 10:00 AM. But if you walk/cycle just for 5 minutes from it's "city center" you have the country side, the little beautiful villages, ... for your own.

Lovely place to stay. Great local walks and so much to do in the area. This is a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Clean, comfortable, and we had a wonderful week here, with a newborn and our dog.

From booking to arrival and departure this property surpasses any that we have previously stayed at. Quiet spot with welcoming hosts and the best ever shower. Would definitely stay here again.
