We had no regrets about Shamrock Cottage and would. recommend like it to anyone visiting Bourton on the Water

The location couldn’t have been better. The cottage was lovely and the property manager was always available to answer questions. We truly loved staying there.

Operation of the shower was difficult. In describing the cottage, it might be good to mention the steep, circular staircases. They are a result of the age of the cottage which we valued, however anyone with a serious mobility issue might not be up to the challenge.

A pretty cottage

On arrival, Shamrock cottage was warm, friendly and inviting. It contained everything we needed. The cottage's proximity to the village was excellent - shops and restaurants were in easy walking distance. A beautiful village.

It would have been helpful if the pictures of the cottage on this site indicated that tall people might have an issue with beam heights. Similarly, we struggled with getting our suitcases up the steep, narrow winding staircase. Parking is an inconvenience for this property and is also expensive.

The cottage was fabulous, exceptional location with everything you need. Pubs, cafés and restaurants on the doorstep. We will be back.

Perfect stay in a beautiful little cottage in the best place in the Cotswolds.

Location was exceptional right in the heart of Bourton on the Water. The cottage as amazing from the facilities, to the cleanliness, to the beautiful original features. Only 20mins from most locations in the Cotswolds it was an ideal location to visit all the sites. Very highly recommended!

Charming cottage, a great location, and a helpful host = the perfect weekend break.

I was impressed by the lovely decor – it was cozy, stylish, and truly made the place feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect too, literally steps away from the centre of the village and all its lovely restaurants and shops. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to requests.

Top floor bedroom no blind or curtain bed not very comfortable dipped in the middle floorboards had holes and was rough on your feet

Cozy and close to town center

This cottage was so cozy and warm when we turned up! The smell was so fresh and clean we absolutely loved the fact the Christmas tree was up as well. Prefect location literally walk out the door and your in the centre and you can’t hear much when your inside the cottage either !

Only down fall was the stair walls are quite thin so when next door we’re going up and down it was quite loud and woke us up a few times. Also quite tricky there’s no parking outside but lots of parking close by !
