Beautiful Cotswolds Cottage

Lovely cottage I wished I could live there. Comfy beds, very warm and cosy. Great location for the pudding club. Loved listening to the dawn chorus and geese.

The parking instruction maybe could have been clearer but that could have been us. We saw 17 in front of the garage first and it confused us.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in the Cotswolds and would happily return. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and beautifully presented, with every little detail thought of to make it feel like a real home from home. The setting was idyllic and peaceful, with lovely countryside walks and picture‑perfect villages just a short drive away. The beds were very comfortable and the living space cosy, which made it easy to relax after days spent exploring. The hosts were friendly, responsive and extra accommodating.

The cottage was very well equipped with essentials. The beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean.The welcome gift was much appreciated. The enclosed garden was great for our dog. The location was great for visiting the numerous attractions. We will return. 🥰

We had a super stay and would definitely return. Found a good local dog walk too.

It was pouring when we arrived so to open the back door to a warm cottage was lovely. The added extra treats were a welcome surprise as was the milk in fridge and coffee capsules. The bedrooms were very nicely decorated and the bathrooms clean and tastefully done. The property has very good quality utensils, crockery etc. very comfortable sofa too. So nice to stay in a beautiful place which accepts dogs. I do hope visitors continue to treat the place with love and respect so it stays as nice. Also I got an email to say we could check in a couple of hours earlier as it was ready - unfortunately I didn’t see it until the evening but I thought that was a very nice touch.

As it was pouring when we arrived and dark it was a bit of a pain to find the keys - having to go right around the back of the houses and through the garden. Fortunately the gate had a sign on it. It could have done with a security light which lit up the garden to make it an easier and a more pleasant experience when arriving at night. Once I located the box it was all plain sailing.

Beautiful cottage in lovely Cotswold village

Beautiful and very well equipped at a high level in the kitchen and bedrooms. Loved the games selection and great use of space. Big bathrooms.

Would be nice to have a doorway curtain for the lounge. I understand why there is no door to maximise space but a curtain to help keep the warmth in the room during the winter could help.

A very cute, clean and stylish cottage epitomising the Cotswolds experience.

All the attention to detail, the quality of appliances in the kitchen, felt like a real home with the decor, pictures, ornaments, books etc. Very clean and tastefully presented, so many lovely touches.

This house sleeps 6 but it would be a tight fit in the lounge and around the table with this many.

Location. Comfort. Communication. It was very well equipped. The kettle and toaster were fantastic. Very generous with gifts on arrival. The pear tree in the garden was lovely.

Lovely stay

Loved all the little touches...Prosecco and Chocolates on arrival. Cottage was lovely and warm when arriving back from nights out. Very comfortable and clean...towels were very soft. A touch of luxury just like the bed linen.

Would have liked a proper frying pan, not the wok pan...that's the only thing we could come up with. Lovely stay

Chilled weekend retreat for girls' reunion.

Comfortable, relaxed cottage with quality furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. Proximity of pubs, shops and footpaths meant we didn't use the car once we'd arrived.

Cottage comfort in heart of village. Perfect!

Excellent location. Worked well for family of 6 adults. Very comfortable beds and linen. Beautiful beams in ceilings, cute & cozy. Well presented and everything clean! Easy each to surrounding area. Easy parking.

A lovely cosy cottage in a great location for visiting the Cotswolds.

The bathrooms were lovely as is the garden space. It felt very cosy and the welcome gifts were a nice surprise. It’s a great location for visiting Chipping Campden which is only 3 miles away and Hidcote Manor National Trust is also 6 minutes drive away.

If you’re not used to living near a road you may notice the vehicles passing at the front but I don’t think it would affect most people.

Lovely, cosy cottage stay!! Would love to return.

It was beautifully furnished, and was in a great location. We were amazed at how many supplies and amenities there were, for example tea bags, coffee, Nespresso machine and pods, a nice welcome bottle of Prosecco, bathroom toiletries, iron, ironing board. We didn’t realise there was an ensuite bathroom to one of the bedrooms, so that was such a nice surprise.

Gorgeous, well thought out house for a family stay

Loved the decor and how well equipped the house was - they had thought of everything! The garden was perfect for the kids, the location was great for walks and the shop was a few minutes away for convenience.

Our only discomfort was that the gorgeous bedding was for winter and we stayed in June so we melted! We would’ve stripped the sheets off the lovely feather duvets but the linen was brushed cotton so still too hot. Maybe some flat sheets or summer duvets in a cupboard could help with this. A tiny thing though, we had a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable home with a good sized garden. Good location in Mickleton within a short distance of Hidcote and Kiftsgate. Well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean. Good parking off road. The hosts at Stay Country were very helpful with clear entry instructions. Highly recommend.
