There was plenty of room for me, my sister and three children (ages between 3-9 years old). The location was good and the accommodation was immaculate.
The windows upstairs were locked and it did get quite hot; though, for health and safety reasons it’s understandable, even with the heating turned down, it was quite warm upstairs, but that is preference as other people may prefer that.

It was perfect in every way. Gemma was so attentive and helpful. We are delighted to have stayed here and will def recommend and come back if we’re planning to be in town again.
We went thru the side door and not the front door.

Location was very convenient to shops and pubs in Bourton on the Water.
It was also helpful to have off street parking.
Narrow/steep stairs to get to top bedroom.

Everything was great! My kids didn't want to leave the house which was the first time ever on this vacation. We loved the lovely welcome gift basket!! Thanks for making our stay special!
We would have probably liked a fan in the first floor bedroom as well, it was a bit warm. The fan upstairs was very much needed in July warmth.

everything was lovely about the property. The whole house had been beautifully decorated. The conservatory and garden was exceptional!
During the hot summer months the heavy winter duvets should be replaced by lightweight blankets. It can get too hot on some summer nights.

1) beautiful three storey cottage with good facilities and tastefully decorated. There's 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a WC at the ground floor. The windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that the place is well lit and well ventilated.
2) Highlight of the place is the conservatory dining area with glass surroundings. Table setting is for up to 6 pax. The dining area leads into a nice little garden with outdoor sitting, lovely flowers and even a BBQ pit.
3) Service is first class. Corrinne attended to some small issues within a few minutes and rectify almost all the issues. She's chirpy and always have a smile, makes you feel warm and comfortable.
4) Wi-Fi is excellent throughout the house, there's carparking at the house and the kitchen facilities were working properly. The huge TV is a smart TV with streaming capability like Netflix.
5) The place is 5mins away from the Town Centre where's there's plenty of eateries and of course the wonderful Windrush river with its mini bridges and lovely ducks. There's also a large Coop 5 mins away where one can get groceries and basic necessities.
6) I will not hesitate to book this cottage if I do visit Bourton on the Water again.
1) The shower on the 1st floor didn't drain well but it was fixed with half an hour.
2) One of the window handle was dislodged and again Corrinne fixed this immediately.
What I appreciate is how quickly Corrinne managed to fix the issues quickly.

We loved our stay at Ivy Cottage! Beautifully presented, warm on arrival, and an easy walk to the town centre and park just behind. It was perfect for our family of 6—spacious, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful touches like board games, cards, WiFi, Netflix, and Disney+. A real home away from home. Highly recommend!
Actually nothing!!

Spacious and very comfortable accommodation. Convenient location. Excellent showers and facilities. Reasonable price and good communication/ service.
Second floor bedrooms were plagued by flies. Rear bedroom needs door/s on wardrobe. Stairs to second floor bedrooms steep, narrow, and slippy when descending in socks.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivy Cottage, thank you for providing such a welcoming and well-kept place. The cottage was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was impressively well-equipped, and the location was perfect for our plans. It suited our needs exactly, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

The cottage is in a perfect location with an easy walk to Bourton on Water central and with many amenities on your doorstep. Parking is great too - which is rare in this part of town. I also really appreciated the host's responsiveness when we had to deal with a small issue, and her proactivity to rectify it for me! Thank you!

Amazing location, so pretty and with all kitchen amenities for us to cook too! Walking into a lovely hamper was the icing on a perfect cake 🥰

Location was very good, with delightful pub nearby and within walking distance of centre at Bourton on the Water where there was plenty to do. There was a lovely welcome pack of local products to start us off and a children's playground right behind property which was useful. Our host kindly returned a couple of items my grandson left behind.
Only thing that could be improved would be range of cooking implements eg baking trays, dishes as we enjoy cooking and without some of these we had to buy in food or go out which put cost up. Of pans and baking tins provided, they had seen better days! The drawer of the fridge was cracked and repaired with sellotape!

The cottage was lovely with all the home comforts and little extras provided. Beds were really comfy and there was easy access through the garden to a park and lovely river walk for the dog.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a special place with lots of choice for drinks and food in the evenings.
Gemma was really helpful and made the weekend special for my husband's 60th which we appreciated thank you.
Highly recommended and hope to return soon.

We brought our own breakfast. Coffee pods were delicious
It would be good to have had fresh milk . A strainer for milk or tea would be very helpful

very big the conservatory was a lovely
group area. excellent location.
slightly steep stairs to the top - no problem for us but if elderly people stayed might need to make it obvious in the description.

Loved the cottage interior and large space, which was perfect for our group. Place was spotless and the rooms/beds were very very comfortable. Upon arrival we had a welcome hamper and note - a really nice touch. Finally, the location was excellent; a mere 5-minute walk to Bourton-on-the-water centre. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

clean and in an excellent location.
We all thought the beds had very soft mattresses. We noticed the mattress protector was stained when we stripped the bed before we left.
No shade on the ceiling light and couldn’t keep the door closed to the first floor bedroom.
One of the bathroom doors wouldn’t stay closed. just needs a lock added.
No condiments (ketchup, brown sauce, Mayo, mustard) like other cottages we’ve stayed in with Cotswold Gems.
Dangerous getting in and out at night as no light was working to illuminate the sideway and I am slightly disabled which was a challenge.
Neighbour next door commented there wasn’t enough room on his drive for his van, even though we were parked in the correct space, so felt we needed to apologise to him.

lovely and spacious, comfy beds very clean. Lovely welcome pack left for us on arrival too. 😊
If we had to be really picky the downstairs loo had no towels in to dry hands, but a very minute thing.

Spacious and well equipped cottage in great location, within walking distance of Bourtons attractions. Enjoyed good breakfast at guest house over the road. and having towels and toiletries provided as well as bed linen. Made use of good seating area in garden for BBQ, adjacent to conservatory/dining room. Public swings, slide etc less than a minutes walk from back gate. Staff helpful in meeting our needs. Downstairs toilet also helpful and having dishwasher and washing machine, with detergent supplied.
No lock on one of the two upstairs bathrooms. Also no end screen on shower meant floor was easily flooded. Description said fridge, but kitchen actually had a tall fridge/freezer. Would have been helpful to know before arrival for our grocery delivery. The nearby church clock chiming every 15 minutes kept some of us awake at night. Large king bed on first floor was too low and soft for our liking.

Excellent location. Lovely garden at rear of cottage. Cottage very clean and really well equipped. Very good well presented breakfast with excellent staff.
As the weather was so hot at the time of our visit the conservatory dining room was a little too hot for comfort.

Great breakfast at the hotel across the road. The cottage was clean and spacious with nice decor, and is a fantastic location to explore Bourton on the Water. There is a kids play area behind the property which was a nice bonus.
Would be good to have a few smaller necessities such as extra hand towels for kitchen and bathrooms/wc new washing-up sponge, and new cloths to wipe down kitchen surfaces.
