Lovely stay thank you!

Lovely home in popular town of Bourton on the water. Short walk into the town centre, all essentials provided (shampoo, body wash, tea, coffee and all kitchen essentials you would need). Really comfy beds, parking for 1 car right outside.

The required security deposit options were a surprise (missed that information before booking if it was listed anywhere). Couldn't find the free street parking that was mentioned on the instructions either as yellow lines on closest streets.

We had a lovely stay and overall the accommodation was very comfortable and convenient. I would maybe just suggest that

The location to the town centre is a very short walk and level gradient, which was important because we had a wheelchair user with us.

I think a few people have mentioned in their comments that there aren’t enough outlets nearby to mirrors which I found to be true and the mirror in the bathroom is quite high! Maybe just a few additional extension cords would be helpful as we needed to move the downstairs extension cord upstairs so we could use our Hair appliances and plug-in mobile phones.

Very convenient location. New cooker, new hob, comfy bed. Pleasant neighbour. Good decor.

Insufficient power points in main bedroom. As septuagenarians we require sockets for charging hearing aids, phones, tablets and especially a socket convenient to dressing table for a hair drier adjacent to the mirror. The double bed is large, great; but the room small, so large cases become an embarrassment. Alas the bath hot tap failed to function, but the shower was grand. I didn't enjoy on vacation having to deal with several weeks' worth of rubbish, especially a heavy crate of empty wine bottles that the local bin operatives failed to empty so I had to make two heavy journeys. The plate drainer supplied should have a matching drip tray, since the washed crockery leaves a considerable flood on the work top underneath. It won't last long with constant wetting.

Confusion on the check out information. Bin was full outside when we took out trash. Bathroom door lock was broken. No proper dish rack to dry washed dishes.

We had a problem with Booking.com, in that the messages sent to us via Booking.com site were not connecting through the app. We also had problems in connecting with the host directly. Once we had it sorted out after we arrived it took us 3 hours to find and enter the property.

All in all, a great location. Perfect for having the dogs

Not a major issue, but the bathroom sink plug was stuck. But I managed to get it open. The Hot tap for the bath did not function. We showered anyway but just thought would mention it for you.

The location was very good. Close to the village centre. Bedrooms were very comfortable.

Great accomodation in good location

The facilities at Bluebirds Cottage were ideal and the location with on site parking in a busy place like Bourton on the Water was great. (10 minute walk in to town).

Initially WiFi wasn't working but the host was helpful in instructing us as to how to rectify the situation

Perfect accommodation for a short stay in Bourton on the water.

Loved the location - just a flat 12 min walk into the centre of the village. The house was exceptionally clean. I'm not sure if it had been recently renovated but the standard of the decor and cleanliness was very high. Clear instructions to gain entry, and a very well appointed home. I loved that things like cooking oil, salt & pepper, herbs & spices, tea & coffee, and some toiletries were provided. This all meant that we felt very welcome. would happily recommend this property to others.

Two fans were provided for the bedrooms. It would have been useful to have a third as we were utilising the sofa bed downstairs for our second child. As it was downstairs - we couldn't leave a window open just for safety. Luckily we brought a fan with us though. I do realise we visited during a freak heatwave so this wouldn't be an issue for most people, and it didn't impact on our satisfaction with the accommodation.
