The location of this property was ok. The decor was nice and it was well equipped.
The mattress wasn’t very comfortable and after using the shower in the bathroom the floor became quite slippery from the steam even though fan was on. Would have liked a drier or somewhere to dry clothes but there was a washing machine. Was an ok place to stay.

Clean and tidy
Small pokey 2nd bedroom. The upstairs is roped off, designated “private”… this could’ve been a good space to store luggage etc..

Spacious house with comfortable beds, stable internet, fully equipped kitchen, bright and spacious. Front and back yard and attached parking
The slightly odd request to remove the sheets from the beds and put them in the laundry basket with the towels. We paid enough not to bother with these things.

The property was excellent. It was very clean, comfortable and the location was great. It was only a 5/10 min walk to the center of Bourton. The two parking spaces were clearly signposted. There were also plenty of entertainment in the property such as board games, movies and trivia.

There was an upstairs area that we weren't made aware of that was out of bounds, but no door, just a rope tied across the stairs saying " private " and it was right next to the second bedroom, my friend barricaded her bedroom door shut as she was worried someone could come down and straight into her room so it would be better if the owners made us aware abd explained why it's out of bounds and maybe put a door up to make it more secure

Location great, a 10 minute walk from the village centre.
2 parking spaces.
Clean and tidy.
Two outside spaces, one at the front and a small courtyard at the rear.
Lovely big towels, a refreshing change.
Plenty of hangers in the wardrobes.
Nice rainfall shower, easy to control.
Beds were small. If you are not small people you will find them extremely snug. Second bedroom small.
Needed cleaning stuff in the bathroom such as squeegee for the shower and toilet cleaner. Not enough toilet roll provided.
Shower got the bathroom floor wet so the bathmat was not enough.
Would have liked a vacuum cleaner or sweeper for the carpet as moss from the garden got trodden inside.
Freezer was completely iced up and fridge door needed a good shove to close it properly.

It was very clean and cosy
The second bedroom was a bit of a squeeze getting in and out of bed but still manageable

Just to say "Thank You" for your preparation of the house for our Xmas arrival! The tree, candles decorations, lights and most importantly for two weary travellers, the heating was On! On a gloomy dark evening this was so welcoming .
Minor comments: It was a cold spell, if I was more confident I might have learned to work the boiler controls. Some kitchen roll and hob cleaner would have helped.

Great location
The toilet did not flush at all the whole time we were there. Luckily we knew to flush a bowl of water down it! Tried contacting the host on the first night but nothing. Very noisy with the cistern going all day and night.

Great location, not in the centre where it was heaving, but an easy walk to the centre. Was nice and quiet. Great facilities.
Personal preference but the beds were not comfortable. We tried to contact the hosts when we had a problem but couldn't get through.

The location of the house was perfect, very close to Burton on the Water. The house had everything a family would need and really was comfortable to stay in.
Happy with everything

I didn't expect there to be a loft upstairs and the toys left for my son were very much appreciated, thank you!
I didn't understand how the heating worked, clearer instructions on this would have been helpful

The quiet location
Very clean and comfortable
Trying to open the extremely difficult key safe box upon arrival and departure. This really needs to be addressed for future customers

clean and tidy
very close to the village to walk
we stay in the area two or three times a year which we like
car parking was a bit odd a little tight to next doors driveway
had to park half on the path

The cottage is a short walk to the Co-Op or the town centre and is very comfortable. All the facilities that we required where available. The kitchen is nice and airy due to the large overhead sun roof.
If you leave the lounge door open to provide access back and forth to the smaller bedroom all the heat escapes up a set of stairs to a very small dorma room that isn't used for anything. Also the information folder states the heating is on a timer but doesn't tell you what the timings are so you can find yourself getting cold. You can push a boost button or set to permanently on if your in all day so not a great problem.

The location was excellent, a short walk from the centre of Bourton and all its attractions. The property itself was very nice inside, having a separate lounge and kitchen is often rare at somewhere this size. The bathroom was also great, with a large walk in shower AND bath. There was a decent selection of DVDs also. The parking space was convenient and always a bonus. One surprise was the attic space, albeit the impact it had noted in “what we didn’t like.
The weather was cold during our visit and unfortunately the second bedroom was very cold - despite our best efforts. This seemed to be due to the stairs to the attic letting cold air down

Perfect location, nice to be able to walk to shops etc
House was warm and we stayed with our toddler and found it really suitable - nice to have the high chair too!
Would recommend and return here!
Would be good to provide salt/pepper and oil. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking but missing a few essentials

The location was great, very close to the village and bird land, restaurants & shops. Lovely walks and friendly neighbours.
Only 1 hand towel for 4 of us, and 1 tea towel. We had to purchase kitchen rolls to dry dishes etc. The heating was very difficult to understand with no instructions to operate it. We were quite cold when we arrived. The water didn't drain away after a shower, the floor was flooded! The bath wouldn't fill as the plug didn't fit/sit well, 20 mins of running the water to get a few inches for a bath! The drawer front in the main bedroom kept falling off. The under floor heating in the bathroom kicked in on our last morning there. There was no salt and pepper!! The cottage itself was beautiful and a perfect location, they just need to iron out these issues.

We stayed for 3 nights at Ardenlea and it was perfect! The most ideal location for Bourton on the Water, a coop just a few minutes walk away too. The house was perfectly clean and well kitted out with beautiful little touches like fairy lights in the garden and games, books and dvds. We just wished we had stayed for longer!

The house was beautiful and cosy for a small group of people. It was exceptionally clean and tidy with lots of facilities suited for a family. The area is also beautiful and the neighbours were very kind and helpful with directions. Everyone here was so welcoming. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend to friends and family. We loved every minute of being here and are sad to be leaving so soon. Wanted to say a huge thanks to the Nick and Fiona for providing us with this fabulous cottage.

Clean, tidy, cosy, great decor, had all amenities, even Alexa!!! Close to town , 10 mins walk. Free onsite parking. Peaceful area. Great communication by email.
Couldn’t get Netflix, be nice to have some drawers in bedroom that you could put bits on as I had to use window sill. Mirror needs to put up in bedroom, needs more pictures on walls.
