About this house rental
Charming 2-bedroom 1-bathroom retreat ideally located a short stroll from Bourton-on-the-Water’s High Street. This cosy yet spacious home offers a comfortable lounge, a dedicated dining room and a modern kitchen equipped with all white goods.
Step outside to a beautifully maintained garden to unwind after exploring the nearby attractions. Whether you're seeking a peaceful countryside getaway or a base to explore the Cotswolds this home provides the perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility
This is Pippa's primary residence. For guests, it is a home away from home, that she rents out for long weekends. It is just around the corner from the village centre of Bourton on the Water, (The Venice of The Cotswolds.)
Guests enter the property into the bright hallway, which leads into the dining room, which is carefully furnished in keeping with the character of the house. The dining room consists of a large table, plants and a fridge freezer. This leads to a modern kitchen which is fully equipped, including dishwasher, electric hob, microwave and coffee machine. Off the dining room and kitchen there is a cosy living area, as well as a comfy sofa and Smart TV.
At the rear of the house, the conservatory, leads out to the private garden, a lovely space in the summer with flowers in full bloom! The garden has a relaxed tranquil feeling, a perfect way to unwind after a long day exploring.
On the first floor of the cottage are two double bedrooms and modern family bathroom, with shower over the bath... Both bedrooms have curtains and come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.
Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.
CHECK IN
Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the house sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
Guests will have access to the whole property, including the private garden.
The master bedroom is locked but two double bedrooms are available. One with a small double bed.
There is a free parking space in the parking bay next to the house. There is also free, on street parking on the road .

Perfect location and great amenities!Check-in can be improved: Instructions were sent through multiple emails from third parties and not included on vrbro until requested.Required to pay additional fees & ID verification through Truvy which was not stated until after we paid/reserved. Toilet dirty upon arival, cobwebs in bathroom and several dirty dishes we cleaned before using. The home is dusty. I'm a tall guy which gives me a vantage point of view tops of shelves and cabinets.This is an owner occupied rental and owner has a dog that she allows on the couch(pic of dog on couch on refrigerator). My wife, son and I all had allergic reactions including itching skin, sore throat and nasal condition. These symptoms subsided after leaving for the day and intensified when we returned for the night. If you have allergies I'd recommend avoiding this rental.
