Good stay

Very good location with a great view. The apartment is spacious (like in the photos), and key collection and communication were easy. The host was very responsive, and the complimentary coffee and tea were much appreciated.

The property feels pricey for its age and condition. The décor and scent are a bit old, and the bathtub seems to let out some water no matter how you put the curtain. Heating was weak, though the portable heaters helped.

The location , the host and it was wheelchair accessible. The host was incredible , I asked him to provide a stool for my mother to climb into the bathtub and he offered it in a few hours . Very friendly and the location was just amazing

Spacious and well-located apartment with a lovely host

Mario the host, a really lovely guy, was in contact before we arrived and meeting him to get access was easy. The apartment is large in an interesting old building that is a short walk from the West station and close to the city centre. Very convenient! It’s also right next to the landing area for the endless stream of paragliders descending from a nearby mountain. So calming watching their graceful paths through the sky. The bedrooms are large with loads of wardrobe space. Everything we needed was supplied (including shampoo and shower gel - much appreciated). Overall, we had a great stay.

A point to note is that there is only one bathroom (including the toilet).

Recommended for families

Mario, our host, was extremely supportive throughout our stay. The location and the view were stunning. It would be helpful to include instructions on how to dispose of garbage in the outdoor bins.

Great apartment in the heart of Interlaken.

Very spacious and clean apartment with free car parking. Location was great with views of paragliders from window. Mario was extremely helpful with his communication and timely help. He added that extra wow factor to already good experience. Having kitchen was very handy.

Spacious and clean apartment with a view!

Mario, the property host, was easily reachable for any questions or requests. Thank you very much! Seeing the paragliders landing one by one, on our balcony window was a great bonus. The apartment was spacious and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We saved a lot of money by preparing our breakfasts and (healthier) dinners at the apartment. It was also only a short 3-4 minute walk to the nearest bus station (Jungfraustrasse stop), which saved our weary feet some walking.

Having a washer/dryer machine was very convenient and cost effective too. (There was a laundromat in town that charged 8CHF for washing and 14CHF for drying!!) However, as is expected often in combined washer/dryer machines, the drying is not optimal. Just plan enough time to dry your clothes a bit more in the drying rack.

Nice place to stay!

It was a nice size apartment. We had fun watching the hang gliders land across the street. It was nice to have a washer to wash our clothes. It was quiet and beautiful.

The shower wasn’t my favorite. You had to be super careful not to get water on the floor.

if someone want to spend some goodtime in Interlaken and surroundings its best option, best for big family no need to bring anything except your luggage, value for money.

Superb

Everything was superb except for the Wi-Fi which was pathetic. If only Wi-Fi was good I would have given a 10/10 . Apartment was spotlessly clean . Well appointed . Instructions from the owner Mr Mario were crystal clear from start to finish . Location was very convenient to all places be it bars or restaurants or shopping areas .

Bright, spacious and light apartment, just with aging interior

Really nice, bright, spacious apartment overlooking a park (or very large lawn :). Well equipped. Interiors feel a bit old, with a slight oldish smell but that's not a big issue.

WiFi works just in half of the apartment, in the other half where there's smart TV, there's very poor reception. To watch Netflix we needed to switch to our own hotspot provided from mobile phone

The location is fantastic. We have a park view where paraglider lands. The apartment is very close to the shopping street and an easy walk to Interlaken West and even Interlaken OST. We also received a free transport card from the host. Mario is the best host we had in our Europe trip.

Wonderful location on the park with beautiful Mountain Views from the balconies and windows of apartment. Mario was a super sweet host and met us upon arrival. He offered recommendations on what to see…and gave us each a Swiss pass for savings on transportation. And we had a rental car so parking spot was most welcome. Walking distance to all! Love to come back someday :) Thank you Mario!!

Pleasant Savoy 26

It was fun watching the paragliders land in the park across the road. Spacious living area and 2 bedrooms for a family of 6 but only had one bathroom and toilet.

Wish we could have stayed longer

The location was fantastic. The beds were worn but comfortable (a big thing for me!). Mario was very responsive. We would have happily stayed longer if our schedule allowed.

The only downside was that the Internet was very slow, and it was somewhat hard for us to figure out which side of the building had the right door to get inside.

Interlaken Ost is a wonderful town to stage your stay. And we will choose this apartment again.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms with a large living room and kitchen. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped for a short stay. There is also a washing machine. Its not too far from Interlaken Ost (about 15 minutes walk) and is directly next to a large park, where the paragliders land. We found it comfortable. Just remember to get the Host's contact number as he is contactable via WhatsApp. The apartment is also close to restaurants and supermarkets, which makes it very convenient.
