We had just stayed at the holiday inn express at Eindhoven airport, which was lovely, so perhaps that made it harder to see the positives with this one. Location is further out of Amsterdam than we realised (that’s our fault), parking very expensive (€30 per day) but plenty of spaces. Tried to get a uber/taxi into central Amsterdam and took over an hour. Metro might have been easier but we had just wanted a speedy option! Will know for next time. The room was adequate but found it a bit dirty. Bedside cabinets hadn’t been dusted or cleaned in a while as had a layer of dust and grubby marks on light switches and such like. The sink plug in our bathroom was also broken (it had sealed shut) and it took 24 hours before someone came to fix it. Breakfast was very basic, compared to Eindhoven. No frills. Very busy. Canteen feel. Didn’t enjoy it much.

Great property with pleasant view of the forests in Eindhoven. Excellent buffet breakfast. 10 minute walk or a few minutes drive to the airport. Only problem is no laundry on site, so you will have to either give it to the front desk for next day pick-up or go to a laundromat in the city.

Handy location for the airport, clean and in a quiet area. Room was nice and clean, even if the sofa bed for the thrid person was very hard (a very thin mattress on a hard table. Also the parking at 24 eur per night is excessive.

We were redirected to Tulip Inn, not nice when you specifically book a hotel to be redirected. Tulip Inn was all good.

There was no place to heat my food and no fridge in the room. There was also no ice machine available for cooling drinks. The location was too far from everything, and the cleaning service was minimal, only arranging the bed and changing the towels. I requested that the bottles in the bathroom be refilled, but that was not done.

Silly me didnt get the names of the two so so so kind ladies who were on reception when I arrived on Wednesday 13th at around 6pm I was given an awesome welcome, an incredible room and the kindness vibes were sooooo strong ! They even tried to find out if the bar had my favourite gin 😁 So so awesome ! Was an absolute pleasure to stay, perfect vibes ! I really hope to be back

The stay was adequate. We had an early flight the following morning. The main issue was the lack of staff. The poor young staff there were rushed off their feet. The key making machine didn't work, which caused complications. The room was ok, but we had to remake the bed as the duvet was hanging out of the cover. Convenient for the airport though.

When you order a 0415 am wake up call in an airport hotel you should expect they wake you up…..well they did NOT. Obviously and thankfully I had set my own alarm, but it sucks when you can’t rely on such a basic service. On top when I checked out there was a “don’t really care” attitude by the receptionist. Close to the terminal, but did not feel really safe, deserted office park, to walk with your luggage at 0500am. But grated that was my choice, could have waited for the first bus at 0515am.

Breakfast was well appointed, with good options for vegetarians. Toilet had permanent stain, disgusting. No ventilation. Extractor not functional. Odors hang around for a long time. Windows in room cannot open, no ventilation, claustrophobic. No housekeeping though we spoke to them and asked for fresh towels. Front desk person, excused cutting off my call to complain, that they were very busy down stairs. The manager who she said would call never did. We are aware of poor service in Holland in general, but were disappointed that the the US brand name didnt make a difference. Never again!

Most of the staff was great, my only problem was upon arrival, I called the hotel to ask how to get there from the airport terminal. The reply was “use Google maps”. I then asked “you work at the hotel and don’t know how to get there from the terminal?” and he replied ”I don’t know, I have never been to the airport” (which is 800 meters away). It was late at night and raining a little so I took a taxi (€42)
