Comfortable and warm. Had lockers for which you need a padlock but you can buy one at reception if you don't have. Good location closr to a bus stop in just 3 minute walk which takes you to the center.
The lockers are a bit loud and you wake up the person next to you everytime it opens as it's right next to the head. The building and rooms were a bit old like a part of an old factory. It was weird that the bathrooms although in the room, were kind of connected and open with the one next door.

What to like?? ... looks abandoned, dirty entrance
Very dirty full of bed bugs, I got bites for the bed bugs all over my body....
The cleaning was terrible.
After I saw the bites I went on reception to complain. They say was weird . After that the provide me a private room but also dirty but dirty
Insane condition. Should be closed definitely for the price of 2 night 100€ i got bites and terrible sleep because was loud music for other rooms .
I recommend to speak with authorities to shut down that building. I saw plenty of bad reviews for that hostel ... the people who give 5 starts on hostel is literally BOT OR ROBOT OR PAID PEOPLE.
I should get refund for that bad things happen there to me ...
But instead they just give that room

Internet connection was good.
- there is no laundry
- there is no common water tap, you need bar tender’s help to fill your bottle.
- there is no window in the room, I couldn’t have time while I was awake for my pshcolgy
- breakfast isn’t open, staff prepare your plate and give you.
- there is no hand soup for cleaning your hands after toilet! I bought mine to clean my hands…
- specially the guy on the reception is not polite and people friendly, I keep myself to not discuss with him.

Lots of love for the colleague working at 23:00 for hearing me out, having a great funny convo and for giving me a good laugh and upgrade.
Was a short but nice stay.
A bit cold

- impossible to get any sleep during weekends. the club nearby made a lot of noise and people in hostel are loud and noisy too. I couldn’t get any sleep and had big dissatisfaction from that place
- room with mixed woman and man made me feel unsafe. I couldn’t choose any else option in a big room. to feel safe you need to spend more money to get solo room I guess.
- no microwave or kettle to make own food (at list I didn’t find any) and no place like a kitchen
- room was way too hot, no airconditioning or window. awful experience.
I understand that 36 euro is probably nothing, but gosh, I better stay whole night just in the airport— at least there weren’t drunk and loud people around
never again, thank you very much

Staff are friendly and available. The room is clean and the pods' soundproofing is acceptable. As long as someone doesn't snore too loudly you won't hear them. Inside the pod there's a single socket, a small net which is enough for a phone and small belongings — bed and linens clean.
There are no amenities in the rooms, but this is understandable given the cost per night. Nice pub linked to the hostel.
The room temperature at night was absurdly hot, and since the system is centralized, I hadn't tried asking the reception. In addition, there is very little or no air exchange in the room, so if you are sensitive to strong smells (I hope you understand the meaning of this sentence), prepare yourself.
Some lockers were unusable because they were locked with locks that made it impossible to insert your own.

It was good check in process, for the hostel it was quite clea and spacious
we had to put sheets by ourselves and it was cold when we got in.

I really liked that the bus that goes to the airport stops almost next to the hostel. Otherwise the area was pretty bland. The bar/restaurant in the hostel has very cozy vibes but not a lot of cozy places to sit.
The bunk bed was pretty comfortable and there was enough space to sit comfortably. I got scared for bed bugs after reading the reviews on google maps but I was lucky that my bed had none of them.
Keep in mind that the hostel is sold out on Sundays.
My bed light wasn't working and the person at the reception said that they need someone from the IT department to check it and it could only be done the next day, after I was already gone. I arrived around 5pm. This was silly because a simple light bulb change would be sufficient.
You can pick your own bunk bed. I didn't appreciate that the card that indicates that the bed is taken contains the last name of a person.
The floor in the room is made of bumpy metal and I had a small heart attack at 5 am when someone dragged their luggage across it. It felt like an earthquake.
The bed sheets were clean but under the mattress and all the corners of the room were dusty and dirty. There is no soap anywhere. Not even in the toilet next to reception. But there was toilet paper. The bathroom was clean but only on the surface level.
I also had issues with the storage as someone forgot their locked lock and I couldn't use my lock to safely store my belongings. Which is something they couldn't do anything about at the reception.
I believe that more areas for hanging out were missing as the bar is closed during the night.
Overall an okay experience but keep all these things in mind to not get too disappointed.

I liked the staff very friendly and welcoming answers to all questions, clean room and bedding...
The beds in room 100 are like tombs or cofins very unconfortable to climb into there is no space to move around if you draw the curtain there is no air poor design dont like it at all.. absolutly hate it...

simple room, good beds
Room was not clean (garbage bin was not empty)
Bathroom drain did not work, while showering the whole floor was wet till the top of the threshold

Literally no downsides. We arrived really before check-in time, before offering us to place our bags in the storage room, they first checked if our room was ready (it wasn’t - which was all right, cause again - it was really early morning). Room had industrial concept - which hit my spot, because I love this type of stuff!
Nothing. Everything is exceptional!

Comfortable bed.
No soap in the toilet, lockers are narrow, hard to put in big bags or suitcase.
5.0 / 10.0
Late check-in, breakfast.
Uncomfortable mattresses, old and terribly poor fixtures with huge draughts in the cold night (5 degrees), old and inadequate radiator, no bedside tables, no chairs and nowhere to put clothes, lack of basic furniture, total lack of electrical sockets (only one, 4 metres from the bed), industrial flooring unsuitable for a bedroom, poor cleanliness (dust everywhere), curtains decades old, location noisy all night (with poor and cracked fixtures, it was like having passers-by in the room).
It was worth less than half of what we paid.

Great location, good priced food & drink, friendly staff - especially Steve in the Blue Collar cafe, really great guy, lots of helpful local knowledge.
Wasn’t given much information on check in about the hostel & services on offer, my bedding wasn’t clean. The Manager was in hysterics when I gave my towel back upon check out for some reason so felt quite sour when I left.

Hi, I would like to mention that it was my 1st time in a hostel...
Nontheless I expected to have a comfortable bed as a minimum. The room I was accomodated in (102) is the most depresing place I have ever been - no windows, no proper lighting... it is impossible to set/tidy your belongins without making noises, stepping on some things on the floor, bumping on some walls, metallic wardrobes, etc.
And lastly I find the way breakfast service is offered a bit offensive: You will be provided with plate to help yourself at the bufet ONLY if you have paid.

Good location, friendly staff
Cleanliness. When I got there my bed looked like someone had slept in it already and there were used tissues all around. No soap in the bathrooms either.

We loved the area, which is very cool and artistic. I would stay here again but a couple of issues. The beds were really comfortable! The super high ceilings were nice, and we loved the industrial look of the place. The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean.
The bathroom/shower left a lot to be desired. There was a tiny lip on the floor for the shower, and so the shower kept flooding, and the water had to be squeegeed back into the drain (there was a squeegee provided so I assume this is a normal occurrence). After only a short shower the bathroom was entirely flooded due to the bad design. Also the shower pressure was very low. We felt the lack of any counter space or a surface to place anything other than the single, small desk (no counter in the bathroom). Because of the location, there was a lot of street noise from the pub/bars/events taking place below - but this was finished soon after midnight. The bar staff were not very friendly, seemed a bit off-put when we asked for menus/food (even though it was well within serving time). We were told the chef was 'only doing burgers tonight', nothing else on the menu. We waited about 45+ minutes for 4 chicken burgers and the place was empty. The chicken burgers weren't great, and at €21 each, they should've been great at that price. Still waiting for the waiter to bring me a little bit of salt. The bar was mostly empty the whole time, not a great vibe and the music was really loud even though the place was empty.

Staff was nice.
Beds were dirty and uncomfortable and overall cleanliness was poor.

Beds itself are really great. Room is good as well. Almost everything is new as of 2025. Initially staff mismatched a bed, giving me occupied bed, but then staff helped me, so, generally, staff is great. The problem is with owner/company (see below)
The corridor (a way between room and elevator/stairs) is fantastically scary and old (more than 20 years without renovation). Also there is a weird smell from walls kinda fish or dirty socks. The same for stairs. So, I was waiting every time an elevator only even if I was on the first floor. And all this scary stuff is 30 euros per night.

The hotel room was a reasonable size. The bar was a nice space. The bed was comfy.
The room was pretty hot and we were just above an industrial extraction unit that was very loud. We couldn't open the window, as the old window was broken and couldn't be held open. There is no air conditioning. The lighting is poor throughout - surprising when it used to be a lightbulb factory! We did find the lighted mirror in the end, which helped. There is nowhere to hang your towels - a couple of hooks would be very helpful. Same in the room - nowhere to hang anything and hardly any shelving in the thin lockers provided. The price is expensive for what it is, but the whole of the Netherlands is expensive for hotels

The style but it’s personal and subjective.

Price.
There's a some kind of a lounge place on the back-end of the alley and a party was going on until the early morning.

The style is unique and very cool. They kept the whole Philips factory wibe witch is a big plus for me. Other hotels might have better value/price but it's very easy to get there with public transport either with train or bus. There is direct bus to the airport witch is a big plus.
The room was cold even with maximum heating

Very interesting accommodation, in an ex-industrial building, refurbished and transforme into hotel. They kept a lot of the initial installation, windows, and the overall athmosphere. Same for the hotel's bar.
Fits perfectly in the neighbourhood (a former industrial installation, re-purposes into youth area) .
Quite noisy environment (old windows provided next to zero soundproofing). And given the vivid area where the hotel is located, ear plugs prooved to be very useful.
Room a bit small and spartan, but got all basic necessities. The setup in the bathroom could be improved (I specially disliked the fact that the liquid soap dispenser was neither next to the sink nor at the shower but inbetween, which made it inconvenient for both purposes); and I would have preferred the shower to have a door or courtain.
