Very nice room. We booked a suite. Plenty of room for us and our puppy. Nice and comfortable to relax. Shower was excellent. Sink faucet not so much. Low water pressure and the spout would extend further over the sink. The alarm clock was SO bright, I actually had to turn it upside down! :) Also. There was a bright light on the fire alarm also. Had to put a towel over that.

When booking, I spoke with the call center and the front desk and neither person mentioned the exit/entrance ramp was closed and that you had to exit and enter the hwy 10 miles before the hotel and take back roads adding 20min to the trip.

I was not thrilled with the standard room, preferring more space for a family, but they were booked. What made me happy to have stayed here was the amazing woman running the breakfast service. Not only did she have every tiny thing spotless and restocked, but she obviously took pride in her work. In past Fairfield's, I've seen only basic prepackaged breakfast options. Here, everything was extremely fresh and an abundance of options. I was very impressed. It was nice to leave on a good note! While remodeled, there were a few annoyances of the room itemself. Namely the old style window AC that was extremely loud clicking on and off all night waking you up. Newer models run a fan constantly to avoid this.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. Check in was easy as well as check out . However, I was unaware of the the security deposit that is charged for first night on top of what is owed for the stay. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. We were also accused of running on our floor. The front desk clerk, Amanda just insinuated that we were running in the hallway despite the running being ongoing for 2 nights. I stayed with my mother and 7 year old daughter. She should have came to the floor to see for herself instead of assuming. Amanda’s co-worker did explain they have to call and ask but I highly doubt anyone else was called. The walls are paper thin and we didn’t hear a room phone ring on either side of our room.
