Location is great. It’s a short walk to basically everything: food, bars, shopping…. Room is ok but needs renovation, especially the bathroom. In my room two lights were not working right (periods of flickering ), and the 2 power outlets are not easily accessible, you need crawl on the ground.

Hotel room booked was not like the marketing pictures. My room was TINY, no drawers, no hooks just 4 hangers. Window view was a wall and pigeon poop. Room was dark and smelled of raw sewage from the tiny bathroom. Room allocated was at the end of a dark corridor and it felt unsafe as a solo female traveler. On the 2nd day I came home and my room was unlocked, maintenance had been in to paint it!! Without any warning or prior notice, they forgot to lock the room after. I had to ask for towels one day as housekeeping didn't clean my room even though I put the sign out. There was a broken piece of glass on the floor from the previous guest not cleaned up. It was an awful experience. I asked to be moved but told a flat out NO. The rooms are NOT soundproof as stated, the room above me were noisy with furniture moving and thudding on the floor as they moved about. This hotel is barely a 1 star.

I liked the design of the hotel, it was really pretty. Location was also really nice. Just for the check in I received the room which was already used by others. Since we needed to give away the key to front desk when we leave the apartment, I was a bit scared if someone accidentally get my room key like it happened to me.

My room was clean and pleasant, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet even though it was fully booked at the time of my visit. I like the location as it was close to the city center and not too far from the train station. It was just perfect for my needs.

Excellent location, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The room* was small but more than adequate. My only "complaints" were that Hotels.com said checkout was at 12.00 (midday) but the hotel stated it was at 11.00am, and I booked the mansardee room but received a slightly smaller normal room. However overall the experience was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

I was a bit disappointed in this hotel. I only book rooms with lift and write in the message that a room near facilities, etc. is appreciated. I was surprised to find that the room booked had 1 floor of stairs and not normal stairs bt a very narrow spiral staircase. Very dangerous, especially for someone of my age and state. No mention of this and would certainly not have booked. Woman on reception reluctantly took my suitcase up. Anthony much more amenable bringing it down. He was delightful. Bed very hard too.

Our family room was very spacious, a big double bed and bathroom. And the children loved their bunk bed in the other room. Staff was very welcoming, polite and guided us to what to do in Rennes. Strongly recommend this hotel which is close to so many restaurants / bars and the shopping area Merci.

Decent place. We were on the first floor and the windows couldn’t open (probably for security reasons) unfortunately it was a really hot night and couldn’t find our sleeps because of this since we couldn’t get fresh air from outside.

We got put in a room with a window that opened to a wall. No air conditioning in the rooms. No air flow and the fan didn’t help. It was a bit miserable at times. Other than that, the hotel was okay.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. With a lovely room having 2 separate windows, I could have a breeze through on the hot days. Clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rennes. I will be back!

This is a very nicely decorated hotel in a convenient location very near all amenities. It was spotless clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was rather basic without hot food. Service was excellent and all staff very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend.
