Very clean hotel, 10 minutes drive to Red Funnel ferry for IOW.
Excellent dinner & breakfast. Staff efficient & friendly at check in, dinner & breakfast.
Some of the public areas & bedroom a bit tired and could do with "lick of paint" & freshen up.

Stopped 2 days. Friendly staff. Nice bar and garden at the back and scrummy breakfast. Only negative was that our room was excessively hot. Fan provided. Would defo stay again but wld request an upstairs front view room which apparently are a lot cooler.

This place isn't great on tending to room.Spoke with owner on way to work about tending to room.I came back from work wanting to shower and relax,room wasn't done.
7pm this was done after I had to go to reception.Thanks at least to receptionist working on her own dealt with this.
Also that morning I told owner I had made order from Amazon,two packages in my name,with my room number coming that day.No problem he said.When I got back the receptionist told me one of the staff had opened not one,but both packages.Absolutely out of order.I stay at Hotels in Southampton due to work.My worst choice yet.
