Not-so-good experience. Breakfast was good, dinner at the restaurant was not. There is a limit of 1 hr per person per day for pool access which is not mentioned anywhere. Some towels in the rooms were dirty. The front staff is very dry.

I loved how it away from the city and the peace it has just from the outside! Amazing customer service the reception worker Francis was amazing took care of me and made everything possible for things to work out would come back there in a blink of an eye one of the best I’ve been to! A little gem in the Belgium countryside. I went here for a work conference and was really impressed. Ideal for corporate events, or just a place to stay. Everything was 1st class, from food, accommodation and service. Beautiful area for walks and runs and great leisure facilities. Wondeful setting, very peaceful and green, so left feeling very relaxed.

Beautiful location. Quiet comfy room. Amazing breakfast buffet - best we’ve ever had. Only downside was that I was advised the gym was open any time - went down the next morning to find it closed for refurbishment. Very disappointing.

I booked the property based on the fact you stated the room would have a refrigerator, which was what we was looking for in a room for our toddlers milk. Especially during the hot temperature to keep other drinks cold for our children, the duvet wasn't big enough for two on the sofa bed, Also we didnt see the hot tub that was also advertised. Apart from these issues the hotel was what we expected. Good location, clean and good choice of breakfast options. Maybe have more staff cooking omelettes during busy times. Waited in line for almost half a hour.

This should have been amazing but was a terrible stay. There was no hot running water. It was not communicated upon arrival. Response from staff was very unprofessional...stating you been unlucky. I informed them shower head mouldy and broken but no action was taken to replace it. Pool during family time was very cold so much so that after 15mins we had to exit as kids were turning cold with blue lips. Sign stated 30.5 degrees pool temperature. When raised with staff they were not surprised and said something was wrong but they cant do anything but will informa manager. Room service food was terrible. Burger dry over cooked, pizza undercooked, staff couldn't adjust the order to required preference as all pre made. For a resort claiming 5 stars they are far from servicing 5 star. Breakfast was chaos, chef was behind refilling food. There was clear chaos in the restaurant team during peak. Location is amazing with stunning woods and perfect to unwind. There is tons to do bit service being low makes you think if its worth the spend. One night stopover on our roadtrip which could have been amazing turned out to be a very unpleasant stay. Far from a 5 star resort claim...you need to improve. Lastly got charged for the night again at checkout as their system doesnt take the info properly from thirdparty. Make sure to check your bill and not pay twice if you prepaid. Luckily spotted before i left.

Reception staff were adequate and not as friendly and welcoming as other places. Restaurant manager and waiter plus the barmen Liam and Abdul were great and especially the Irish chef in the restaurant, he was just fantastic. Carpets in the hallway and rooms need to be replaced and it is oils feel more like a 4 star.

OMG this place was like something out of a James Bond movie utterly amazing! Thank you to everyone that took care of us for what I wished was more than an overnight stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back for a longer stay in the future

We had a very nice one night stay. Great peaceful location in the heart of the forest, when you look outside your window you look into the forest. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice accomodation, could use a little tlc in some corners, but that's just regular wear and tear. Rooms are practically designed, a little dark for my taste (but that's personal preference). If I need to give one negative feedback point, you need to make reservations for the pool (time slot of 45min / 30 persons) it can get a little crowded. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The setting of this hotel is wonderful with the Sonian forest as a background and a peaceful setting. Neverheless, think twice before booking this hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel (and the spa) are open, but they clearly are having hard time managing. The service cut-back are severe: there's no house keeping and no room service during the pandemic (we asked about clean towels at the reception, and while they were provided, I almost got a frostbite from the receptionist's look). The restaurant staff tries their best, and are very friendly and helpful, but there's simply too few of them (three-course dinner: 2.5 hrs, since the staff simply didn't manage to stop by our table for an hour). There's a wonderful bar patio, and very friendly bartender, but he cannot possibly manage when every single table is taken. And I am not even getting into things like the fact that the breakfast is bare-bones, often packaged long ahead (the fruit salad offered on Sunday morning had a sticker from Thursday on it). The hotel cleanly saw better days: walls are often visibly chipped, there are holes in carpets and bedsheets, the shelves in the wardrobe were misaligned. The cherry on top: we forgot two items in the room, realized soon afterwards, but the hotel couldn't even bother to reply to our request to have them sent back.

Not really suitable for a family trip, overpriced restaurants and facilities, our fridge didn't work for 2/3 of our stay and resulted in us losing ~50 Euros worth of food. Staff weren't able to remedy and we needed to chase down a fix numerous times. Great location for business travellers/conference attendees, not really set up for kids and service isn't set up if things don't go to plan

The second time there... this time only 4 stars, because the reception made a mistake with the room and blamed it on me. Very unprofessional!! After a day they wanted me to move into another room... if I please could pack my bags in the next 10 min... with a child, a baby and two dogs... and move to the other room... taking all the luggage by myself... with the two children and the dogs. The reception man was so cool about it, he didn't care to help. But after they discovered it was indeed their mistake,I could stay in the room. It really was annoying,so I can't say anything nice about the hotel now... the usual blah blah.
