Loved the Little Cottage and your friendliness. Location perfect.

Had a great stay at the Little Cottage. Marina was very welcoming and a lovely host. The rooms were very clean snd spacious. Location brilliant for visiting Waterloo, literally on your door step. Also great for trips to Ypes and Burge, as not to far away by car. Thank you for a great couple of days. Xxx

We loved our stay there and would definitely consider returning when in the Brussels area!

Marina is the best hostess, friendly and accommodating! The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely. The location is idyllic and peaceful.

There is a house cat, so we had to buy some allergy medicine at the pharmacy. But it worked out fine.

Lovely, historic neighborhood, beautiful countryside, great hostess.

Host/Owner Marina is great. She is fluent in - at least - French and English, and very attentive. She knows the area well and is a reliable source of info. The garden is wonderful and the cat ("Gaia") is very friendly. Clean, comfortable and a great rate is possible if you book far enough ahead (my reservation was 6+ months in advance).

The road the little cottage is on (Rue de Bas Ranbeck) is historic and cobbled. That takes some getting used to driving on. The night temperatures in late June were nice and cool. But hardly any houses in Europe have window screens. Be prepared for moths to come in toward any lights you leave on!

Super kind hosting at Marina. We had a very nice stay for cycling weekend at that beautiful cottage. Calm location, great breakfast and very good restaurant nereby. With one word: perfect.

I would recommend staying at Little Cottage to family and friends.

The garden was great for having a drink in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our host was friendly and helpful. We could also walk to the grocery to pick up a few items if needed.

Incredibly nice and cozy little cottage. And being able to use the terrace outside was a big plus for us. We were in the room looking at the garden. It was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and we even managed to do some remote work while there. The host Marina even showed our 2-year old the garden and played childrens' games with him. We know we will come back again when we need a break from the city life.

I would definitely stay here again, for both work and leisure.

The location is down a small cobbled road, so bring some trainers/walking shoes to walk in. The property is in a very quiet area but within walking distance of an amazing Thai restaurant towards the centre of town, there is also a small restaurant right next door (which I did not go into, but while passing the food looked very good) and I was informed there are several other restaurants in the area. The hostess is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and will cater to your breakfast requirements (no dairy etc. ).

Totally recommended!

- The room was nice and clean, the place has a really cozy atmosphere. - What I like the most, besides the fact that the owner is super nice, was how flexible she was to accommodate our check-in schedule. We were not going to be able to arrive on the requested schedule so I wrote and asked if we could just pick up the keys few hours before and enter the room at a later time, she agreed and everything went smoothly. - The breakfast was really good. - It had a parking spot to use. - If I come back to the region, I will definitely book again a room here.

I actually have no negative comment, the place was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

I received a warm welcome by the host apon my arival, the room and the bathroom facilities were very nice. The Room Had everything I needed. In the morning I got a very good breakfast. Waterloo, where I had some work was a verry short drive away.

Das Ambiente! Es erfüllt alle Erwartungen an den Stil und die Stimmung eines echten Cottage. Ich habe mich unglaublich wohl gefühlt! Ich war Gast im Hause einer reizenden Vermieterin, die sich sehr klar und diskret, völlig unaufdringlich verhält. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und in sehr gutem und geschmackvollen Zustand. Das Frühstück war bescheiden. Letzteres nahm ich gerne in Kauf, weil für mich nicht prioritär. Da könnte ich Urlaub machen! Das Cottage befindet sich offenbar in hervorragender, gehobener Wohnlage und Natur. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis spricht für sich! Ich würde es sofort wieder buchen wollen bei nächster Gelegenheit.

Matig verblijf, matig ontbeten

Schoon maar meer ook niet

2personen 1stoel 2 handdoeken voor twee nachten dus nooit droog. Zeer gehorig qua buren (restaurant) Direct aan een weg waar hard en de gehele nacht gereden werd conclusie wakker een paar keer. Zachte bedden Matig ontbijt niet afgestemd op de gasten en geen keuze of aanbod waar je uit kan kiezen.

Exceptionnel et ressourçant, expérience à répéter

J'ai adoré l'accueil. La propriétaire est très à l'écoute. La vue sur le jardin de ma chambre était très reposante. Les lieux sont chaleureux et j'avais presque l'impression d'être chez une connaissance de longue date. Le petit déjeuner est très cosy avec des bons produits et varié. C'est un endroit, où j'ai pu me poser, et me ressourcer et où je me suis sentie bien chez moi -en étant ailleurs- car super bien accueilli. De plus les alentours sont très beau, on n'est pas loin ni de Lasne, ni de Waterloo, ni d'Ottignies... bref pour moi c'était juste parfait. MERCI!

Posizione tranquilla, ottima accoglienza, la titolare parla bene molte lingue tra cui l'italiano e mette gli ospiti a loro agio, fornendo preziose indicazioni sui luoghi da visitare.

La strada d'accesso, piuttosto stretta, ma breve: circa 400 metri da percorrere con prudenza.

Gezellige B&B met een heel gastvrij onthaal! Rustige ligging in mooie omgeving! Heerlijk kunnen eten in het naastliggende restaurant ( hoofdzakelijk vlees) en de gastvrouw verstrekt graag info over leuke resto, mooie wandeling…. Lieve poes aanwezig!

Happy Place!

Dit is een pareltje, écht een Happy Place waar je tot rust kan komen. Het is hier nog écht stil, op het heerlijke fluiten van de vogels na. Marina is een prachtige en zachte gastvrouw die je in de watten legt. De kamer was kraaknet en fris ingericht. Marina gaf ons ook leuke tips over de omgeving. Wij hadden een heel warm gevoel hier en raden haar mooie en verzorgde plekje aan.

Emplacement tres bien, très calme, propreté impeccable La propriétaire du Little Cottage est charmante et veille particulièrement au confort de ses hôtes. La maison a beaucoup de charme, avec un très beau jardin. Le petit déjeuner est top et la propriétaire s'enquiert de ce que ses hôtes aiment pour leur faire plaisir. Je recommande vivement ce lieu de séjour encore un détail:il y a de très bons restaurants à proximité.
