What a lovely surprise! Small but fully appointed and cozy. Spotless and modern. Room overlooking opera house. My first stay I was sorry to go but they were booked. I may come back for 2 week stay

The rooms were clean, but initially very cold and heating not responsive. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was not much storage - drawers, particularly - for a week-long stay. The kitchen area was small but adequately equipped. We mostly used the sink and the refrigerator and didn't try to cook. Overall, the rooms and bathroom were a bit shabby and not very up-to-date. It was fine for our stay. The location is excellent - near many Metro and RER lines and shopping areas, esp. the big department stores. This made the hotel worth the money.

This was a great place to stay, lovely staff on the front desk, great location, comfy beds and quiet at night. Disappointing was the breakfast not being provided to us despite our booking including it. We were given it complimentary one morning however the lady who works in the kitchen was rude and arrogant and should not work in the service industry!

This is not a 4 star hotel. The place smelled like mold. the carpets were dirty and the lighting in the room was horrible. We were stuck in an inside room when I requested a balcony and you would think since we had a long stay reservation the room would be better. The only good thing is that it was close to the galleries Lafayette. Do not stay in this hotel.

Great location, room spacious with much better kitchenette than expected (not that we used it), staff, cleanliness etc all great. Breakfast room in basement/dreary, but food itself fine. There are a couple of cafes nearby, would probably go there next time. Traffic free zone, so very quiet. On top of Metro station and lots bus options very close. Opera Garnier a short walk. Would use again- especially for short stay.

Our room was very clean. Beds were made every single day. Towels replaced as needed. Hotel staff, Ghani was so welcoming and helpful. Everyone in the hotel was perfect. The area is wonderful for shopping and dining. My family and I had a very good experience staying at this hotel.

Good morning, thank you for a lovely stay at your hotel our breakfast attendant was amazing she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Would love to see a few more breakfast options. The apartment was spacious. The lighting is dim so it felt dark which is probably why the cleaners couldn't see the table dust. It’s definitely dated but functional.

The location is great - close to busses and metro, restaurants very close, a supermarket around the corner. We enjoyed the fridge and used the microwave. The beds were super comfortable. One challenge was the temperature of the room. As we were unsuccessful in turned down the thermostat, the asked at the front desk if they would do it. They said they would send a technician. We asked 3 different times and still the room was to warm. Thankfully we would open the window. We stayed 9 nights so our room was cleaned every 3 days. Luckily there was a housekeeping lady on the floor in the morning so we could get toilet paper... as it was not replenished. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we would come again!

The hotel is located very close to the famous department stores and is very convenient for shopping. Less than 5 mins walk takes you to metro stations, so you could easily go many tourist spots by metro.

Frankly the location is great but the service is very bad. That do not make cleaning every day. You must ask towels, toilet paper and soap if not they don’t give you. They promise clean and only clean 1 times in 7 days.

The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, and the location is really good too. Unfortunately, the rooms let the experience down a bit. Our first night was awful; we stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed, which was extremely old and noisy. Every tiny movement made a sound, so we barely slept. The staff were great and moved us the next day, but the only option was two separate studio rooms, which was disappointing as the trip was for my daughter’s birthday. The photos on Expedia aren’t accurate or realistic at all. The rooms are much more basic and outdated in reality, with no view. If you do book, I’d definitely recommend choosing the Parisian rooms, as we found out while we were there that these are the newer and much nicer ones.

Poor service and disappointing stay We stayed at Residhome Opéra for 4 nights (1+3), but unfortunately the service and experience were very disappointing. At check-in(9/17/25 Afternoon), although we had requested two twin beds, we were given a double bed. When we raised the issue, the reception staff (Woman and another male colleague) said there were no available rooms and told us to email the manager, without offering any apology. The male staff member even replied “I don’t have a name” when we asked, and made an unnecessary comment about our previous trip to Amsterdam. The next day, we were told it might be possible to change rooms, but the communication among staff was very poor. Even though we confirmed with the night shift that we would stay in the same room, the receptionist later claimed she had tried to reach us to move us. Throughout our stay, she repeatedly avoided eye contact and never greeted us, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Besides the service, the facilities were outdated: very poor soundproofing, an unstable shower head, and constant street noise all night. And there was some dust on the side table even after cleaning. Overall, the lack of professionalism at the reception, combined with subpar facilities, made this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.

The location of Resihome Opera Paris is excellent and very convenient for transportation. However, the service and housekeeping were unacceptable throughout our 8-night stay. For two consecutive days, our room was not cleaned, even though we never placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign. When I reminded reception in the morning, the room was still not serviced, and staff kept insisting that we had used the sign, which was not true. When the cleaning manager finally came, replenishment was incomplete — first bedding without towels, then towels without tissues, and even soap was not replaced. Trash was also left inside the room. Later, the situation became even worse: on the one day we actually hung a “Do Not Disturb” sign, housekeeping still entered and cleaned the room without permission. This is both unprofessional and a violation of guest privacy. The hotel later claimed it operates as an “apartment” with limited cleaning, but this was never communicated to us during booking or at check-in. On Thursday, which was supposedly their scheduled cleaning day, we had already requested service in the morning (without using the sign), but still no one came. Great location, but poor communication, repeated housekeeping failures, and inconsistent service make this hotel very disappointing. Also, the equipment and conditions of the room is not as nice as it seems on the pictures.

When we try to check in for 6 rooms for our party of 14. We reserved three apartments (executive duplex) ,two studios and one Family bedroom (for 4 peoples) Altogether 6 rooms. But all of a sudden Ghani (male staff) told me the rooms are not available for all 6rooms. Ghani at the check in counter is keep lying to us about the room is not available. We asked to talk to the manager. Ghani said i am the manager. But he was not the manager. Almost an hour of arguing with him, finally, we met the one female staff. She apologized and we got the rooms what we reserved. Later the real manager quietly appeared because of the argument. Ghani tried to fool us and he even used word “stupid”and didn’t even apologize. Our group (14 of us) was so tired of waiting and got so mad about the hotel treated us. He (Ghani) never apologized. Because of our 1st stop at Paris was your hotel. You ruined our 1st day expectation of Paris. We definitely not recommend your property.

Centrally located safe and comfortable property. Amazing Breakfast included in my stay. So many food and shopping options around. Right next to Gallaries Lafayette mall and several metro stations. Great service by Sofia and Ghani at front desk and Maryam in the breakfast area. Recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay and walk around in Paris.

HVAC broken, hot rooms, very inconvenient and uncomfortable 4-day stay! We slept on a studio room with one bed for 3 people! I'm very disappointed to Fatima and Sofia who promised me a refund for downgrading my reservation from a family room to a studio! I prepaid for this reservation 2 months ahead & was promised to be refunded, but it's been almost 2 weeks and I'm just getting a runaround of my refund. Unfair and unacceptable!! I need my refund ASAP!

The property is well located for the Metro and shopping, very central to everything. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was nice and big. The room was in need of some maintenance due to wear and tear and on our last day we had a leak through the ceiling, it was quite bad and we needed to use a saucepan to collect the water. We were on the 3rd floor so likely the bathroom above us leaking through. We reported it and the staff seemed unconcerned as if it was expected, as we were checking out anyway it didn’t matter to us. But f this had happened on the first day we would have been much more bothered by it.

The residence was probably nice when it first opened, but it now needs a full renovation. Do not rely on the pictures, the AC does not work properly, the air dryer is almost broken, the fan is full of dust, and the walls and amenities are generally in very poor condition. I had to sleep on the sofa bed in the executive apartment because we were traveling with our kids. The sofa had a hole in the middle and the armrests were completely damaged. I have stayed in other Residhome properties in the past, but this one was by far the most unpleasant experience. Night staff was nice when we check-in but he was alone and couldn’t help for fixing the AC, and try to help as he could. We had a nice lady doing our check out too. Just be aware when you book your stay that it’s not a 4 stars residence and expect nothing.

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When we checked out, the staff at the counter promised to process a refund, but unfortunately, no one has followed up with us. On our first day and until the afternoon of the second day, we did not have running cold water in the shower. It took a technician’s visit to finally fix it. On top of that, the air conditioning was not working throughout our stay, and we had to rely on manual fans, which was very uncomfortable. We sincerely hope that hotel management takes these issues seriously and improves their services for future guests. July 11-13

Lobby and reception experience was great. Location is excellent. The room was terrible - an attic room with half the ceiling angled beams to bang your head on when getting out of bed; a shower with no grab handles making it risky to get in and out of; very inefficient air conditioner (we called on this and got an inefficient portable fan to 'help'). Not a comfortable room but it did have a refigerator!

We did not get the room we had ordered but a smaller one which only had one bedroom vs the two bedrooms we had ordered. This was admitted by the staff. We complained several times incl the day we arrived but nothing happened. We were just told the manager would come the next day it later. A foldout bed was added but the mattress was poor and our kids had sore backs every morning. There was no dishwasher - instead they gave us a washing up tub and a brush for manual washing. The general state of the apartment was poor - not well maintained. The daily cleaning was not very thorough. The AC did not work well. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The location is very central with good access to metro/trains. It’s a dodgy neighborhood in the evening with a lot of homeless people gathering and I don’t recommend walking alone late in the evening.

Nice room, but a repair to a clogged bathroom sink was never completed properly despite multiple requests. Air conditioning broke one night. Elevator was out for a day. All minor problems, but several of them, all attended to rather casually.
