Gorgeous and iconic hotel of Taiwan.
Stayed only for a night before heading home but made a great impression. It's not hard to say 'wow' to every corner. We booked a suite in the Chi Lin pavillion which is a connecting building from the main Grand Hotel. Much quieter and closer to the valley. Our room has an excellent view of Taipei skyline without the traffic noise that you get from the rooms of the main building.
Bed was super comfortanble I had great sleep. The hotel itself is outdated in some areas but that's the charm of it. There are lots to do in the hotel, plenty of restaurants to eat from (albeit pricey), some shops for convenience in the premises.
Great hotel! It's a must stay even for just one night.
