    We originally booked a Collection Room for five nights, expecting a premium experience based on our positive stays at Radisson properties during previous trips to Europe. The Collection Room is a corner room featuring windows on two sides, although they do not extend floor-to-ceiling. This initially seemed like a great feature. Unfortunately, we quickly noticed that the curtains were extremely dirty. Every time they were moved, visible dust would fly into the air. The curtain railings themselves were visibly rusty and clearly overdue for maintenance, further reinforcing the impression that the room had not been properly cared for. Within a short time, we started experiencing allergy-like symptoms, including nasal congestion and frequent sneezing. We reported the issue to reception and requested a room change. While the staff accommodated our request, the replacement room had the same problem. To make matters worse, the bed was worn and sagging in the middle. After just one night, both of us woke up with back pain. When we requested another room change, the staff who assisted us acknowledged the issues and explained that, due to the historical significance of the building, they are limited in terms of repairs and renovations that can be carried out. Even so, we proceeded with the change in hopes of a better room. The third room was somewhat better, but still far from what we expected from a Radisson property. The air-conditioning unit, like those in the previous rooms, was visibly dirty and appeared to have been neglected for quite some time. What was most disappointing was that these issues were not isolated to a single room. Across multiple rooms, we encountered dusty curtains, rusty curtain railings, dirty air-conditioning units, and worn-out bedding. It is unacceptable for a hotel of this category to have multiple rooms showing such obvious signs of poor upkeep. Cleanliness and maintenance standards fell well below expectations. To be fair, the hotel’s location is one of its strongest points. It is conveniently located right across from the Central Station, with bus stops and convenience stores nearby. Tivoli Gardens is within easy walking distance, and Strøget can be reached in about 10–15 minutes on foot, making it a practical base for exploring the city. Given our previous positive experiences with Radisson properties in Europe, this stay was particularly disappointing. While the staff were polite and did their best to assist us, the overall condition of the rooms significantly impacted our comfort and enjoyment of the stay.
