About this hotel

Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Middelburg, in the heart of Zeeland, was originally the central fortress in the defense line built to protect the island of Walcheren more than a thousand years ago. This recently renovated hotel in classic style and the oldest hotel in Zeeland, is located in the city center – once a major port of the Dutch East India Company during the Netherlands’ Golden Age. With stretches of sandy beach nearby and a number of historical attractions and quaint towns at its doorstep, this hotel is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing weekend or midweek break.
